Wouldve given it 1 star if it wasnt for the advisor and the people at the information desk, they were very helpful! The reason I would give it a 1 star is because, after going through inspection, I wasnt too sure how the process worked. I went to the drive through to pay what I owed. I asked 2 very simple questions from the start, which was not answered until later in the conversation. The lady at the drive through (farthest from the window) gave me such a bad attitude I actually had to go inside. I am not the one to complain, but for a customer to be treated this poorly is obsurd. She refused to answer my questions until after I did what she said... cut me off from saying anything else and was giving me an attitude, I was trying to defuse the situation by saying "im sorry, i dont know this whole process works" and she still continued to give me an attitude. I was shocked to say the least. Moral of the story, no matter how bad your day is going, there is no reason to misplace your anger, especially on a customer. Thank you Bonny (supervisor) and everyone else at the information desk for helping me through the process when I went inside, that is true customer service.
Worst experience, gave me the run around. Want to the dmv 3 times, after given incomplete information on changing my driver license from one state to another. First they needed the old driver license and birth certificate. Then it was social security and old driver license. Got feld up and came back with everything even proof on new address change and proof of taxes. Dont come here if you dont have time to waste. People here think its a game, since they sit behind a desk and chit-chat.
Some people are nice. Though I needed to get a temporary registration for my car because I was having issues getting it from my financial institution. The woman ended up freaking out on me for not going inside, when I had been told by a women inside that I could get the temp tag through there drive through after getting inspected . So some of the people there are really nice and others can be nasty as hell.
I went there to renew my driver license. The employee said I must have EITHER social security card OR I-94 which was missing at that time. Next time I went there with my social security card and another employee said I must have I-94 instead of social security card and was denied. They were inconsistent about the rules. I suggest you to carry all your documents so that you can provide whatever they ask.
The facility is great, and the line is super quick. However, the level of service is subpar. Information being communicated via phone vs in person were vastly different, which I understand happens, but rather than saying as such and offering an apology for the confusion and inconvenience, the supervisor at this location was extremely rude, combative, defensive, and dismissive.
Going in for a simple 2 year tag renewal with a waiver for recent repairs, took over an hour to do even though did inspection earlier in the week. Had to go back and forth between inside and incpections 3 times before getting resolved. Note, this score is because of the stupid and under trained associate inside. Inspections team was knowledgeable and helpful.
I went through the inspection lane in less than 10 mins. Then I had to go inside for a change of address and a title switch over. As soon as I was handed my number it was called, in BOTH sections. I was at the dmv for less than a half hour. The employees actually SMILED and were HELPFUL. I thought I was dreaming! Way to go mid county!
Why No Weekend Hours? Come on people get with the times, there should at least be some Saturday hours for those of us that work through the week! Mandated agencies that are exclusive with no one to compete with seriously lack general customer service concepts.
I went for my federal drivers license I was in and out in about ten minutes fastest motor vehicle experience ever I highly recommend this location and also the woman that helped me was wonderful she was very nice and got me through the process very fast
Good place, but worse people. Only bully young driver to fuilfull themself, over use of authority, but only layman driving attitude and skill. weak to face their poblem and complaint, Waste of Taxpayer money, what a shame .
Renewing my license right after they opened took time but I was able to get my car registration renewed in 10 mins and that includes the inspection and paperwork/payment! Stunned!
You bring a moped between 45cc and 50cc and you will confuse everyone. Ive gone here multiple times with many different cars and service is always smooth and quick
Very nice people work at this location. Wilmington is much closer to me but i prefer to come to this location for their kindness and well temperament.....
Excellent service! As soon as I walked in my number was called. My license renewal took 5 minutes. I recommend going on Wednesday in the evening
This DMV has got a big road block iron gate that wont even allow you to enter the parking lot or road test area.
