A phenomenal service that I wish were offered in more places! Computer Works has everything you may need for a computer at honest and fair prices, which is the real clencher for me. So often tech prices are inflated, but at Computer Works, you get a good deal. Their combination of complete systems and spare parts makes sure that they have something for everyone, and their staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Do yourself a favor and check it out already! P.s.-- be sure to check out their computer museum for a trip down memory lane!
Workers harass you about buying items, unreasonable prices on stained worn out furniture and the electronics are, while a cool idea, is a joke. They take apart laptops they are given for free and make people buy everything separate. Hard drives, ram, and power cords are separate. Do yourself a favor. If you need a laptop look on Craigslist, 5miles, offer up or even discount electronics. These guys will try to sell you an old ass computer for the price of a new one.

Went there twice. No employees in the store either time. Finally had to go to Goodwill next door and have them call someone to the counter. To the RAMBUS guy, we love our old iron but RAMBUS was a technological dead end. Donate that Dell, get something current and move on. Goodwill probably charged that much for RAMBUS memory because it is a collectors item. Even at your preferred price of $195 per gig, it makes no sense to keep that dinosaur.
A place where we can encontras unmatched value items at very low prices, and contribute to help those most in need
The good will computer works staff does not work the register have to wait 20min. For the one person to finish playing with a laptop. Also it looks like the store just has scraps of what did not sell on eBay... All in plastic bags complete with eBay item numbers
Seriously, you have to visit this place often as you will never know what you will find. I got a perfectly good High Resolution 23 Inch Computer monitor that hits a resolution of 2560×1600 for 39 dollars.. Right 39 dollars... woot woot...
We used to have better luck finding things at this location. Today there was not much to choose from. In the past we found couches and chairs here for really good prices. Things are organized for the most part. The staff is friendly.
$20 to $120 computers wiped clean and sold with no warranty with no Operating System (no Windows). $100 to $400 for a computer with an OS (typically Windows 7 or higher) and a warranty. Lots of parts and cords and $10 DVD players.
It is a goodwill with a gaming store attached to it. Find great deals on furniture and pick up a cheap game or laptop. It is one of the largest goodwills in the Austin area (which means a greater variety of products).
I wasnt impressed by this one , not very organized , shoes are all over the place on top of the racks so if your short and looking for shoes like i was then not a good idea to be on tip toes up and down each isle lol.
This is like my secret Goodwill. Every time I go, I find some amazing stuff. It has to be magic. Huge selection of quality shoes at incredible prices. I make the drive past all the other goodwills to get to this one!

I filled up my rental house with clean and functioning items from this Goodwill location. I purchased bedding, towels, kitchenware, TV, stereo and furniture. A classy looking rental for $400...great! Thanks Goodwill.
Best place to find old computer junk in austin.. I have bought a lot of weird just here... computer racks, as400 (that I forgot to pick up), projectors, weird monitor stands and keyboards..
This Goodwill is great! They have loads of computer parts that will save you lots of money if you just need a cable or a drive. They also have complete computers for sale as well.
Hit or miss. Some good deals, but some items are way too expensive. SATA DVD drives are $19.95, which is more expensive than a lot of the new ones you can find on Amazon.
They have a decent selection of clothes electronics, furniture, pictures and books. But their clothes tend to be overpriced in comparison to shopping new.

A fairly abundant inventory with many options for all
GREAT PLACE for old computer parts. They even have some good deals on newer computers and I was able to find some switching and server equipment.
The local big daddy of goodwills. The auction is big, and the computers are priced a little too high to be a good deal. But worth looking into.
Chaotic and expensive considering they get it all for free and most of it is in bad shape. The computer works store is the worst.
Q find what treatment was sought and friendly.
My husband works here frequently and they have a large selection of clothes to browse while i waited for him to get off :)
Nice big store with added bonus of savvy computer section that has it all, used computers, laptops and fair prices.
20 glass pieces for less than $ 2
they have an excellent used computer and electronics section, in addition to the usual Goodwill thrift store.
It is a place with very low prices
