I went the expedited route and bought a high quality mountain bike for $50. All I needed to do to get it in good condition was replace a tire tube, adjust the brakes, and lube the chain! The bike I chose already had riding lights mounted! I am already so much more knowledgeable about bike mechanics but got a ways to go. Thanks, YBP!
Awesome place. They helped me find a nice used bike that was right for me and explained a thing or two about riding. They also have open an workshop on weeknights where you can come work on your bike for free using their tools.
An awesome community space to take care of all your biking needs. They have a good selection of used bikes available, along with classes/volunteering to teach bike repair and maintenance.
Junk bikes with a rude staff! I called first and they were rude on the phone, I went in anyway. Walking in they were very unfriendly and unprofessional. Not Austin cool or Austin Weird.
One of the largest and friendliest bike collectives I have ever been to. I have found some treasure here, you just need time to dig around. I wish more places like this existed.
Everybody there is great. All the frequent visitors are nice and talk about their bike builds, all the staff there is extremely friendly and helpful.
I grew closer to my bicycle after it was taken apart by my hand guided by the knowledgeable friendly volunteers of the Yellow Bike Project!
Friendly group of people, with a whole slew of the mechanics of bicycles-and build it yourself and get your bicycles cheaper

I bought a great bike at a fair price. These people really know their bikes, stand behind them, and have a great selection.
Great set of workers! Very informative and quick to help out! Good bikes for good prices over all a great experience.
Very great initial visit toYBP. Joel and the gang are splendid n the custom trek I tried was top of the line.
This place is an amazing local resource with their earn a bike program! You help them and they help you.
Great place for parts and they accept donations. Very friendly staff an asset to the neighborhood.

Very friendly volunteers very reasonably priced repairs such as $2 used inner tube free patches
Best place to get a used bike or repair one. The staff is very helpful but it is self service
Friendly/knowledgeable staff. Test rode bikes for a few hours before finally choosing one
Really cool idea of a co op bike place especially if you want to learn how to fix a bike!
Great collective with a wide variety of retail too, perfect for those hard to find parts

Great experience learned how to patch a tire and fix bearings on my bike!
Learned a ton. Had a lot of fun. Got a free bike. What can I say.
