It is hard to rate Salvation Army as it "is what it is" the prices are consistant with the other Salvation Armys ( 50% off all clothing on wednesdays) and about the same size. The nice thing is all clothing is divided up by gender, then divided into shirts-> tanks, short sleeve, long sleeve, blouses ect. and by color (not by size) . You can find great deals if you take the time. They have a lot of clothes that are still New With Tags and at a really good price.
Some of the prices were inconsistent-when we tried to negotiate a fair price, the manager had an authoritarian attitude that made the visit so unpleasant. When we told her that other locations negotiated fair prices, the manager informed us that she would put a stop to it since she oversees the other locations. This left is with a bad impression of the organization. I thought the Bible said, they will know is by our love, not our authoritarian and unfair ways.

I went around 6:00pm and I left around 7:00 and my cart was filled to the top. It was a very good environmet. And I found some great stuff. Some name brands like juicy couture, and hollister and aeropostale. There prices are the BEST and they where having a sale all tags green and white where 50% off. So it was even cheaper. I would recommend this place anyday. But you have to search for your size because its not seperated by size.

The salvation army is actually on the South WEST side of I-35. It is next to Chucky Cheese and a Kinkos. If you try to find it using this map point it wont work for you. It is actually located across 45 from Garden Ridge. I usually go on the 45 access road towards Mopac, loop under and then you can get to Salvation Army. I enjoy shopping here and find some good clothes. Wednesdays usually have some good bargins - like 1/2 off.
Great store with excellent second hand items. They sell everything from forks to family size sofas! The prices are generous. We bought European bowls for just 99 cent each and salad bowl for $1.99. Worth to check items like sofa or chairs. They even sell bycycles and other sport items for less than $70. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! You can find reeaallyy good and unique things for very pleasant prices.

Love shopping at Salvation Army. We find some great buys but the staples leave holes in fabric items most of the time. We bought some small wire cutters to remove the staples and thought that would solve the problem. Using the wire cutters helps but does not work every time. I think the holes are punctured when the price tags are attached with the double staples,so removing them carefully does not always help.

I was really impressed with this store. The merchandise were all nice items for very reasonable prices. I purchased a nice couch $50, a wall unit $20, and a nice radiant space heater $20. The staff was helpful and helped us load our items with a smile. Beautiful store, great selection.

For some reason, they staple price tags to their clothes which ruins them, even if you carefully take the tag off. About to go return a nice shirt I bought yesterday because the staples left holes in it.
Great store. Great prices especially on Wednesdays half price day. They really need to change stapling tags on the cloths. It snags and makes holes if ur not carful. Nice staff and clean store.
This is my favourite Salvation Army store. They have a much better selection and better organization than the one on Anderson Mill. I often find good brand names and good quality clothes.
I love going to the army xq find good quality clothing at a good price
Furniture is far too expensive. I suppose I was spoiled by the resale shops back home in Chicago. Too bad, I refinish furniture as a hobby. Not at those prices!
great customer service and reasonable prices !!

Nice location. Better than Goodwill. Wife had fun finding cloths for her family in the Philippines!
