The short term temporary (night) shelter is receiving a negative rating, because they will not allow journals such as laptop computers etc. and personal files in packs or bags secured on the person of this individual. Identity theft etc. Furthermore, while I passed by this shelter while walking, I was threatened verbally, which include physical threats, and there was the strong and repulsive smell of crack, methamphetamines etc. Some of these people also said they were felons. Homeless shelters are supposed to shelter homeless(those without a residence who are not felons) temporarily for reintegration to a more permanent residency. Felons are suppossed to be housed in rehibilitary transitional facilities such as halfway houses.

I volunteer here mostly every sunday. It is an organization with a good purpose serving the lord our god. It may smell, but that is expected. Volunteer here! You will stay sober and learn a lot. Free food too.
