Caring helpful environment for the homeless community. Food is better than average. I eat here every night and happy to receive the sustenance. Thes people that work so hard impact the community in such a wonderful way. Only thing I would change is offering more to women in terms of immediate shelter. Seriously lacking where women are concerned. Women need alternatives. So much seems to be centered around helping the men. Men overwhelm everything that’s offered by their sheer numbers in all venues. It gets old...

I went here to volunteer .and the guys where nice and the homeless where well so where great some where well medicated but u expect these things. What i wasnt ready for was all the endless talk about fund raising and going on there mail list when i put my address in there volunteer log they have a full staff that just gets donations . i see people sleeping in front of there building daily they dont give them blankets or get a bigger place or open 24 7for people to be inside but ubcan pay a whole donating staff

I have volunteered at PRM on Burnside for 4 years. A challenging environment for sure, but day in day out they do their best to help everyone that comes through the door. The homeless numbers in PDX are getting worse and its organizations like PRM that are in the front line making a difference. I only wish the city would make alleviating poverty and affordable housing a higher priority. Bravo PRM!

i only go there for the Saturday church service, i wished they could of helped those people out that really need it like for example a job, bcuz it hard getting a job here. now and days. i want a job!! dam it ha-ha
