I found it rather off putting to see the items which had been prayerfully handcrafted for the center simply tossed into huge bins of wrinkled clothing and other items. The personnel assigned to accept donations were rather surly, as though it was a nuisance to have to deal with a donation. I also donated a great deal of upscale clothing, which was simply thrown into bins. I have doubts that the donations made will ever be actually useful for the clients there as the donation area is so cluttered and items seem to be dumped into a huge mix, rather than even surveyed as to what is being donated.

I stayed at St. Vincent for two weeks. The staff was excellent to me and the food was so good. The had differant food preparers come in and they treated us with so much respect. I woul recimend St. Vincent to any lady that was down on and in trouble because they do their best to help and refer them to places that help even more. I had a wonderful exsperiance there, and can not thank them enough for their kindness and helpfullness. God bless you all and thank the Lord that there is a place like St. Vincent to go to. Yours very truly Charlsie Gilliam.

The actual donation was very easy. Directions for prepping the car were straight forward. The pick up of the car was as scheduled. I received a confirmation letter shortly afterwards. When the car was sold I received a letter for my tax records showing the amount St Vincent De Paul received. The whole process was carried out without necessary meetings at St. Vincent De Paul.

I enjoy donating to St. Vincent De Paul because I know that the items are being used for a very good cause. I know that families do not always have money to buy the little things and something that is in good working order could help them out which they do not have to pay for. I will continue to help others who need help. Shirley Vance

This place is no helpto the poor. They try to push you off on any one else that they can. They have to many homeless anf not enough food or seating. When they run out your told oh well when your children are hungry. They pick favorites on how and who they help.

I recently donated twice to St. Vincent at the shelter, and I am so glad I did. They received my items gratefully and I know they will be used to help give the homeless a fresh start! I will never donate anywhere else again!

Horrible shelter. Extremely unorganized and the staff looks for any reason to kick you out. Over capacity at thetime of this review, by 20+ families, but will not turn anyone away.

Staff was gracious and appreciative, they commented on the kids toys and TV because they need them for home starter kits...

This is a great organization that helps those in need. We should all be as generous as we can to help those that need.

Very easy to drop items off, friendly staff, convenient hours. I like that the items go to people in need, not sold!

I feel so much better donating to them as they use it to help those in need.
