I do not know who lepter2003 is but I suspect their views of the staff and "whose in line first" show for what it is. My wife and I are in Ministry and had the Joy of visiting Mission Arlington and found nothing discriminating in their service and Love of Christ they show to all those that reach out to them. Whether they are illegals or not, a true Born Again Christian recognizes that God is not just an American USA God. As the youngest Nation of size, we seem to think we have the priority on God and any services from Him. An attitude that, if not lost and buried in forgiveness in Christ Jesus, the host of that hatred will bear an eternity they do not want. We found the entire staff (Mostly Volunteers) enjoyable and loving to everyone. They have rules yes! Without Rules, chaos and failure prevails. But what we found was something most Churches lack today. A Heart of Christ to help and reach out to souls establishing The Church out in their respective communities in apartments, laundry rooms, Rec Rooms, etc... and not wasting the funds on buildings but to feed, cloth, provide home essentials (beds, furniture, appliances) to anyone in need.... for free and delivered. They transport at their own expense, people to work and home to doctors, to stores for necessities. They offer at their site, free medical examinations, Dental work all by volunteer doctor and nursing staff. The most wonderful and fulfilling adventure is to take week or two, a weekend, whatever and volunteer and discover Mission Arlington from the inside! Mission Metroplex was good place, The clinic still is, it has doctors and volunteers who work tireless from 8am to 11pm to provide assistance who people who do not had health insurance (before Obamacare) Great people. However, I went to ask for a bed one time and filled up an application and one new girl, ask me, Do you follow Jessus? I said NO, and she said, because here, is god who provides, and I told her that this was incorrect because who provides is regular people who donate their unwanted stuffs so you can give it to other people, stop using that to push your religion. I never got a bed and I never went to that place again, and I donate all my stuffs to other places also.

i love the bible study, the youth progs which i participate in and love the volunteer opportunity where you get to meet some awesome people. i just think they have too many rude people working there . and then when it comes to services u.s. citizens and illegal immigrants are put on the same scale, so if you show up and 30 other illegals show up they may end up serving the 30 illegals while you wait and you may end up be sent home with nothing. i wish they mend their services so if you can provide s.s.n. you get to the head of the head of the line specially if you are a veteran god bless

Overall, I love what Mission Arlington is doing for the community of Arlington. I volunteered over 15+ hours at this organization, in which it was a really neat experience. However, when I recently returned a lady named Barbara was short with me, which came off quite rude. This is no way to treat volunteers, was disappointed with how she treated me. 3/5 would recommend to a friend.

With an unbelievably friendly and welcoming staff, Mission Arlington is absolutely THE place to go for volunteering, learning about giving back, and everything in between. I could not recommend any place better in DFW than Mission Arlington if you want to make a difference in the world.

I went to mission arlington two days ago and i did request if we could get a twin bed for my child whos sleeping in floor for a year and here we are having the delivery bring us the bed Oh i could not thank yeh enough GOD Plus your heart Yeh made my day

Some christians they are. Had shingles n told to go home n lay down till they called me but they saw a girl that came before me and someone who came after me. Not the first bad experience. They volunteer for the wrong reasons not because they have a heart.

Great people who care about you and really care I lost my job and they helped me get my meds because I have diabetes and thyroid deasise and no insurance my meds are very expensive and I will die without them so I love these people

Great place for volunteering. Jay will make you laugh alll day long. And Miss Barber is awesome. She does sooo much for the mission, but never forgets to feed her workers with donuts and pizza! Love this place. Earl M!

Not very helpful group of people. Unless you can make your schedule fit into their very tight schedule, they will not pick up anything for you. I guess they do not want to help as much as they claim.
