We adopted two loving cats from this shelter. Yes they have many cats here as another reviewer has stated.... but what a selection and what a wonderful way to do your part to make the world a better place by giving one of these cats a home. Our cats truly appreciate it. The volunteers and shelter workers do ask many questions but I understand why - they have seen many cats mistreated and returned to the shelter and they want to have them find a good home. Please go and adopt a cat or kitten - there are so many wonderful cats there in need of a good home.

Excellent facility. I am proud to have adopted a cat from there, and to be a volunteer there as well. While they cannot please everyone, and cannot adopt every animal, I have seen them provide excellent, quality care for the animals in the shelter and provide necessary services where needed. They have made a positive difference in my life and I love my Mia, my Tortipoint Mix Siamese. They supported me during my time of grief when I had to put my other Siamese down.

I have adopted 3 (yes I said 3) kitties from this shelter and all are loving little babies that constantly fill my day with joy...but seriously, this place works on donations only and through volunteer workers and veterinarians, giving shots and medicine and food, healing sick animals and helping provide quiet safe places for animals in their final days. Go work there or volunteer there for a week and then come back and write a review....its a tough job!

I have a great time everytime I go visit and play with the dogs.. the people are very friendly and give be a lot of good information to help with purchasing a dog for my daughter...

Its horrible the ways they treat the cats. They just kick them out of the away. Also the staff members are rude they dont seem happy to be there.

The place is dirty, the staff are rude, and we got no help looking for a animal to adopt. Dallas needs to demolish this place and start over

Perfect place for adoption... All the animals are well cared and vaccinated... All have rfid chip... Good place to volunteer as well

Looking around to get two kittens but seeing the CATTY response from the owner makes me think twice about going here - yikes!
