The absolute worst place to donate plasma. The dr that does the physicals, needs a major attitude adjustment. I spent about 7 hours there becoming a new donor, in the end to be DISCRIMINATED against for childhood scars. It blows my mind that they welcome drug addicts for donations, but would deny someone in perfect health and no drugs in their system for no other reason than having scars over 20 years old. Absolutely shameful and disappointing.

The staff was extremely friendly and overall quite helpful during my visit. I did get there early though, so it might be a bit of a difference between getting there later. The facility was very clean and ordered with tvs to keep the most bored person content. It took only a couple hours to get through the whole starting process and will see how future visits will turn out.

I had all correct paper work required .but because I said I am using the money to pay for a hotel so I can visit my dying wife how is in the cancer center at shands they refused me . THANKS biotest I feel you are a joke ..I have never had a problem donating in charlotte NC or FL biotest except the BIOTEXT on 13th st. Gainseville FL.

I needed extra cash so I decided to donate plasma. The first time I donated I went to their competitor down the street. You cannot compare the two. Biotest is much more professional, organized and they pay more the first 4 visits. Everyone is friendly and the 2nd time I donated I was out within an hour. I love Biotest! :)

The folks were nice for the most part. I was told that I could not donate plasma because I was in the United Kingdom - I was never in the UK but I was in Germany and Italy as a soldier. For whatever reason they insisted that Germany is part of the UK and because of that, I could not donate.

Absolutely horrible. They only do appointments two weeks in advance, when you go up there to even talk to anyone they act super rude like they are doing you a favor. And from what I could see they are very slow and barely get people in. I would rate zero stars if I could

If you are going to donate plasma for cash do it here. The staff are friendlier and more knowledgable, the wait times are probably less than half that of other plasma centers, the facility is much much nicer than other centers and the y pay more.

Made an appointment for a new donor online. Come in and get told I have to wait because the appointment was made for an existing donor. Was there for 2 hours just sitting in the waiting room. Very disorganized. #DayWasted
