This progressive managed care shelter demonstrates a solid and consistent commitment to animal welfare through various initiatives. It operates a low-cost spay and neuter clinic to help offset animal overpopulation. It will soon open a low cost veterinary clinic to help keep pets in the homes of owners who would otherwise give them up due to an inability to pay standard rates. It offers low or no cost vaccines. It operates a pet food pantry. The shelter educates the public about responsible pet ownership, microchipping and the tremendous need for pet adoption rather than purchase. Lastly, the people behind the shelter -- its employees, board members, fosterers and volunteers -- are dedicated, professional, educated and friendly.

We adopted a border collie mix here 6 years ago and had such a great experience with the staff there that we started volunteering and are now a foster home for dogs and kittens. The hardworking and friendly staff really care about the animals and the people they place them with. This shelter rescues and finds homes for hundreds of animals a year, and offers many other animal welfare services such as a low cost spay-neuter clinic, low cost vaccinations, a feral cat management program, pet food distribution to low income families, etc.. Overall, a great organization that has many healthy dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for adopters to choose from.

A year ago today I got my pomeranian mix her name is katniss and I got her after the passing of my baby girl Tia she is the most loving fur baby I could ask for. So I n June of 2015 katniss and I wanted another fur baby and we got delilah she picked her out. And today katniss is going to go visit her former home just to say hello

I purchased my puppy October 2000, his name was nolan He, was a beautiful chow, golden retrieve, . he was my whole life, he just passed monday. Two years ago, my family and I adopted a Shepherd Terrier Mix from here. And it was a very good move, the dogs that were there were healthy and the pups were giving us, "please take us home looks." But if I wanna get another pet. Ill return back to this great place.

I adopted a dog yesterday named Sarge and he is the biggest lover. They took very good care of him. He has kennel cough, is heartworm positive, and diharea. Getting treatments for all of them but i wish his health was better to begin with.

Great rescue...everyone was friendly and nice. The volunteers were also great. Have adopted 2 great dogs at separate times and had nothing but great experiences and we have added 2 great dogs to our family.

Drove 45 minutes to see one of the dogs on a Saturday. It said they were open til 5pm. We get there at 3 and it was closed and didnt even bother to inform anyone. Waste of a day.

Showed up at 7am like i was told to get my cat fixed. No one is here, no one is answering. I want a refund for their ignorance. Seriously unprofessional.
