I adopted two precious dogs from this shelter (they are sisters). They had been abused by their previous owners, and I really wanted to give them a special home. The staff was SO incredibly helpful with detailed information about their special needs. The girls are doing so well - happy and playful and a wonderful addition to our family. This human society is the best shelter I have ever encountered (and I have volunteered and visited many). Thank you thank you!!

Drove 30 minutes to go there and hopefully adopt a dog for our home, waited 20 minutes in the parking lot for someone to open the doors. After calling and knocking on the door we called it quits. Left because of crying children. Not professional, about a dozen people left with us after waiting.

I used to do the summer and spring camps they had there. Staff is excellent and takes care of their animals very well. The puppies and kittens are especially adorable in the spring too. Love the shelter!!!

Wonderful people who love the animals and do a great job. I adopted my dog Bonnie from them and so grateful for the compassion they all exhibited for the animals they care for!

Adopted a Jack Russell Terrier mix collie for first time visit. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The cost of adoption was reasonable and no kill zone shelter.

Went by to see a dog that came from Florida that looked my dog which recently passed away and was hoping to find some closure but was unable to see him due to quarantine.
