I was referred to BioLife by a friend, so that she could get the referral fee. I went Wednesday, after work, and was told my address came up on the computer as either a half-way house or a homeless shelter, which is ridiculous, since I live in south Tulsa. I had an electric bill, but was told it was not sufficient, because it was over 30 days’ old. Undaunted, though rather embarrassed, I went back, early Saturday a.m. with the new documentation they required regarding my address, and was approved. When they asked me if I had ever donated plasma before, I told them yes, in 2013 at CSL on Admiral. Immediately red flags went up and whistles went off. They wanted to know why I donated at CSL. I informed them I took a friend that didn’t have a car, and instead of just waiting around, I donated too, and gave her the money. I could tell they were not happy, but they passed me on to the next phase, vein approval. Then, a gentleman, who was not a phlebotomist, told me I did not have a vein in my right arm, so I had to wait 90 days to come back and try again. I asked if a phlebotomist could look at my arm, and was told no. Whereupon, I informed them that a vein was not going to appear in 90 days, so I would not be coming back. Now, I know why a young woman left crying on my first visit, and there are so many scathing, negative reviews on their website. Overall, my experience with BioLife was very disappointing and unsatisfactory, except for Heidi, the receptionist, who was very nice, helpful and professional. I will not be going back to BioLife ever again, and I will tell everyone I know (including my friend who referred me) not to go, as well. Instead, I would recommend everyone go to CSL. Their facility may not be as nice, but the policies and procedures are better, the staff is much nicer, and their pay scale is better, too.

Had a good experience. Place was clean, some staff were nice others just looked like they needed a break. The directions for my first time was clear, and I was only anoyed at the questionair which took a very long time. They have a timer which makes a fast reader wait a while before responding with yes/no. The physical was fine, nothing major. The person administering the physical might want to work on people skills though. The actual donation process was good. Comfortable chairs and staff that is able to tap the vein easily. I had no problem with my vein being rolled, or problems with trying to find the vein like others seem to. The only discomfort was the pin prick (which is nothing really) at the beginning to check my blood before they stuck me and afterwards when they put the cold hydration solution in my arm. Not all the staff are going to be friendly, and the compensation may not be the greatest I guess, but it is a good facility and in a nice part of town. They were not mean to me, just distant and looked tired. I liked BioLife and would give even if I was not paid, as there are many out there that need the benifits of plasma. The compensation does make for great date money, and gift money though.

drove across town to donate plasma in the snow and when i arrived the lady at the front desk would not accept my social security card because it had been taped in the middle from constant folding and told me i could not donate ...........i have used this card to obtain around 9 jobs and have never had anyone refuse it ......i waited outside for 5 minutes then walked back in and explained the amount of time and gas i had just lost kindly asking if she could help me out and she said no......im donating plasma and dont understand why the condition of my ssc has anything to do with donating!

It is a very clean friendly establishment. I prefer driving to Broken Arrow to go to BioLife way more then CSL. BioLife has an appointment system that will get you in and out in no time there is no two to four hour waiting and it makes things so much easier. They also have child care which is great. My only issue is the website is a little weird sometimes so you have to call to schedule your appointment if you have children with you.

I highly recommend donating at Biolife. I have donated at multiple Biolife locations and never had a bad experience. The staff is efficient and friendly. The facilities are clean and the childcare providers are great with my daughter in the playroom. Plus they are almost always offering bonuses. Biolife rocks!!! Shout out to Tonya who gave me excellent service today!! Thank you!! *Update* Scheduling sucks

The lady at the front desk was super rude. She made me stand there for 10min while she talked on the phone, then she said they had to have my social security card even though the web site had other options. So after driving an hour and a half to get there I had to turn around and go home. What a waste of time.

Staff was very friendly and helpful to me as a first time donor. Took awhile to go through the stations before donating, but after the first go around it should be less time consuming. Nice bonuses for new donors!

Biolife in broken arrow in my humble opinion has excellent customer service for one and two the quickest, cleanest, friendliest, most modern, well kept premises of any plasma place in Oklahoma.

I love EVERYTHING about THIS Biolife center. The place is clean, the people are enjoyable, and every person from every walk of life seems too come here. It is interesting to see. I love it!

Love the program, but they must have a computer running the schedule. Because of this what use to take an hour is almost 30-60 minutes longer because the lines are HORRENDOUS at peak times

You get money on a card like today which is cool but when you make an appointment take into consideration that it will probably take about 30 minutes after sitting to get stuck.

First visit was much longer than I anticipated, but the facility is clean and the staff are very friendly. Compensation is fair, better that the other two local options.
