Helping Hands provides assistance to 25 people a day on a first come first serve basis. People who need help often show up as early as 5am in order to wait in line to receive assistance. By the time you called, they may not have been "open", but there was already 25 people waiting and were identified as the ones to be helped BEFORE they opened the doors to offer assistance.

Great thrift shop. Comparable prices to Goodwill. There are some things that are overpriced, but other things that are a really good deal. They sell furniture, books, clothes, craft supplies, bikes, etc.. Sales floor and check out staff are volunteers. They have a food bank and provide utility assistance.

This place is a blessing. They help people in need. Although you may have to pay a dollar more than you feel is fair its a small price to pay to give back to the community.

A decent used goods place. Cheaper than good will but had less of what I like (movies, games, toys). Has a ton more clothes and books than goodwill. Also it is huge!
