The facility and equipment seem pretty modern, though their ID and proof of residency requirements are pretty strict and not entirely clear from the website. When I disclosed that I took some prescription drugs, I had to deal with a condescending nurse who claimed I was taking controlled substances and would supposedly fail a drug screen. Though I have never been refused by the Red Cross, I was told I took too many medications and sent away.

Bio-Blood Components it located on North High Street, close to campus. Its really accessible, and everyone is incredibly nice. Unlike some of the other plasma centers, you can usually be processed in less than 30 minutes, and the process is totally computer automated. You can earn up to $100 a week as a new donor, just by donating plasma.

I really enjoyed the visit there , the employees were so nice and very helpful. It was my first time being there and i am going back as soon as i can. They all was knew 2hqt they were doing and made feel very comfortable. It wqs great.

Always friendly. Great way to earn extra money. I made over $300 my first month donating. I started coming mid-morning and center is less busy. I can usually donate from start to finish in under 1.5 hours.

Please dont waste your time. Very ghetto and unprofessional. The screening process is ridiculous and they will turn you away for the smallest reason. Not worth your time.
