fter purchasing a second car and driving it home we noticed that the light was coming on the highway. At first I though it was not a big deal since the car was green light, but I was not sure. I knew it had a air bag light already and expected to put $1000 in fixes after, but it was hard to get the car home, seemed to over heat. Once I spoke with Sean I was told to bring it to a mechanic the Auction referred me too to check it out. They were honest and gave me my money back, just have to wait for the title already registered it. They honored the green light. The rule is you must tell them before Tuesday at 10am if you buy on Saturdays Auction if the motor needs to be replaced. This was for my child who wanted the car, but I am coming back again after purchasing another car that worked out great. Thank you so much will be back and tell all our friends.

Very very very good way to buy a car! If you decided to go to Interstate Auto Auction in Salem NH YOU NEED TO GO test drive the cars because some of them are in incredible condition and others are just in average condition. I look at a few Honda Civics and won a 1998 EX Honda that has 154 thousand miles that I could not find one thing wrong with it except that it had a gas tank on empty. The other Civics had interior that needed to be cleaned and some tires that were worn. Overall I was impressed and surprised at how fun it was. The cars were in good condition, but they all drove through the auction and many people who were with me were nice to talk too. The only thing is if you buy a car expect to do a little bit of work to it. This is a very good place to buy a car in my opinion.

I have been buying cars here for seven years now and will continue. I have purchased many cars, 2 Ford F150s, Dodge Intrepid, Nissan Maxima, Ford Explorer, Audi A6, Volkswagen Passat, Ford Crown Vic, Infinity G35, I have them towed up to me in Maine to my mechanic which I always expect to have to invest some money so $1000 - $2000. When I add it up I still come in under retail value that I would have had to pay to get comparable car at dealer and know what is in them. I have bought from dealer to end up still needing to invest money. This is the way to go if you have a honest mechanic that you trust, I can stomach the repairs at the end of the day it saves some money. After about a year I sell them for what I have invested and do it all over again. Basically allows me to drive for free.

Interstate auto auction is a good place to buy an inexpensive car. I bought a 2010 Hyundai elentra with 105K miles for only 2,250 dollars. This was the first car I bought at an auction. When I went to get it inspected there were no issues at all and I passed inspection. The only problems that I had with the car were cosmetic, which ran 1,000 dollars. In total, excluding fees, I spent only 3,250 dollars on pretty nice car. There is a risk buying cars here, but if you do detailed research, have a mechanic or know someone who knows cars, and have good intuition you can buy a really good car for cheap.

So after making a deal with the seller before the auction for a fair price on my 2004 F140 FX4 extended cab pick up I put in a new brake system, spark plugs and catalytic converter, had the transmission tuned up the engine flushed and all required synthetic oil was used. I put in a used Bed liner and picked up a 2008 interior at a used parts yard. All in all after a total of $6500 total spent I have a truck that is as dependable as a new $48,000 one. Thanks.

The women working at the key dispensing area , Evelyn S. , was friendly and a great help answering any questions I had regarding keys, and the auction in general. The Honda we bought needed a new transmission. They gave me a full refund plus helped me with a refund from the state after registration.
