Went with my boyfriend who is in a wheelchair and is a double leg amputee. The front desk said their policy for disabled wheel chair donors is that they must be able to stand on their own without help to be weighed. Then said they dont think he would qualify cause he couldnt be weighed without help. We told them he has NO problem being weighed and dont need any help to stay still on scale. Front desk made us wait over 15 minutes for a supervisor who said the same thing. He proved that he could do a hand stand in a small area that would be even smaller than a doctors scale and he held that position For about a minute or longer. So then she said she would have to talk to someone else. So then they came up with a new excuse that he wouldnt be able to get out of his chair and on the bed unattended. SO he prooved them wrong yet again and climbed up and down his chair with ease. Then another excuse that wheel chair might not fit in back. . To that we told them he can get back without it without any help. Every excuse they made we proved that he could do it. They still denyed him to even go through the screening process. He proved he can do everything they have asked him and still just because he is disabled they wouldnt even try to screen him as a donor. This csl plasma center is very discriminating towards disables and we will be talking to a lawyer about bringing up a lawsuit against them. The whole time their they were stuck up like they are better than anyone else their, kept making us wait before coming back with a new excuse ( hoping we would just leave probably). So they can take known druggies and homeless in the area but not a clean, descent member of the community just because he is in a wheel chair.

These negtive reviews are funny. The people who work hear are really nice and go out of there way for you. Needles hurt. Dont like pain then dont do it. The only time I have seen staff not be smiling and helpful is when rude ass people are tryin to yell at them and call them names. No one deserve to be talked to like that. These people with negativ reviews are those people who are nasty to others. I am a reguler and we dont want you there so dont come back. No one care.

People are nice and the place itself is fine. But they have too many untrained helpers that can not properly stick a needle into a blatently obvious vein from a regular donor. Again its just a matter of them being understaffed and I get that, but there is no room for incompetence in a medical field of any kind.

Their are new people training and I would suggest to get shots with someone with more experience. Due to I left their several times with bruises on at lest one arm. But all in all a good place for extra cash.

First time donating plasma, ever... The staff was extremely patient and personable! They made the process as painless as possible, which says a lot coming from a person that has a near-phobia of needles!!
