Its was very unorganized and a waste of time. When i first walked in the lady at the front desk just looked at me. No "hello is this your first time? Sign in please." i just assumed that was the sign-in sheet.i than waited for 20 mins just for them to take my documents.this is where it got out of control i go into room one and the lady tell me to read a sentence out loud(i do) than she tell me to read 4 more pages. (i do) while im reading (in what supposed to be a private room ) 3 different nurses kept walking in and out.on top of that one of them decided to clean the door!!! When i was finished reading a different nurse comes in the room dont introduce herself to me and just ask for my ss#. Like who are you?? You not my nurse. From there a different nurse came in and asked did someone test my veins already. The unnamed nurse said "idk she was in here when i got here". So the new nurse checked left arms and told me i dont have any veins in that.than she checked my right and told me she have one. I told her i had my blood tooken at the hospital on tues.she tell me thats find. Than the floor came in the room and double checked my veins."why are u checking my veins ???" "because the other nurse said you dont have any veins, from what im feeling your veins are to small to donate. Have you donateda before??" yeah twice a week at that. "Well i dont feel comfortable with you donating blood, cause if something happens to your veins its on us. Sorry" and i walked away.

I think that the moral of the employees is sad! They are always upset and constantly telling us that we will get deferred if they want to. They fight a lot and they need work on team player abilities . Some of the Staff are sweet but most are rude and snub you. Who ever is above them nedds to help them find fun in a job that is hard and repetive . They are always unhappy. I waited until I have been more than 10 timed to make sure it was not one or a bad day. Also, this company makes a lot of money. Without the front staff, phlebotomist, and clients there would be no money. There needs to be a lot of fun and laughter to offset the seriousness of the of it being a lab setting. I beleive with a lot of work and the company spending money and time back on the patients and workers this could be an enjoyable place to not only visit but to work.

This is my 3rd time coming here. The first and second times, they gave me an express pass. Afterwards, i see what everyone else here was complaining about. I saw a review where a lady said that she was here for 2.5 hours. Ive been here 2.5 hrs and they have yet to stick me. Ove been on the donor floor for about 45 minutes WAITING for someone authorized to do the sticking. They FINALLY came to stick me and because im nosey, i ask questions. He said they were understaffed and overworked. My observations alone could have told you that. But to be honest, he was the best guy thats ever stuck me, so i cant complain about that.. Overall, if they had more folk working, it would be much better.

Facility appeared very clean and organized from the lobby. However, you can not donate unless you have a copy of your power bill, ssn, ID, and/or a lease with you. Also found out that you can not donate if you live in a hotel (even if the room/accomodations are part of your pay or work benefits.) Which seems unreasonable, but, they do not allow residents of hotels/motels to donate whether or not the accomodations are work related housing. FYI. So, just thought all those working for hotels that provide housing for their employees should know this before wasting your time driving over.

Let’s be honest. Most of us are going to this place to get money. You could easily pawn or sell your items, but instead, you go here. Is it slow? Yes. But that’s because everyone there knows all it takes is donating some plasma and you get paid. I recently just learned about this place and it did take me about 3 hours from start to finish for my first time, but in the end, I received $75. And when I go again, I get $50. I had no issues with the staff or the physician. I would recommend this place to anyone, but just understand you will wait.

Always slow... Feels like walmart. Only one person at the "register" to check you in and take your vitals so you can get into the back... Then you can wait there for the one person that is "allowed" to get you hooked up... Thier unprofessional in thier hospitality and lacking in efficiency. Such a different atmosphere than BioLife in Lakeland, where hospitality and efficiency are in abundance. SMH at these people.

I have been going to Octapharma since 2011. I have seen a lot of people that have come and gone, but I feel that overall they do great work there. The skinny manager gets on my nerves but I hardly ever have to interact with her. They also have some really great phlebotomist now and all the workers are great, they handle business professionally. Thank you guys for your hard work!!! V

Ive been going here for awhile and it has been a pleasant experience. Depending on what time of day you go, will depend on how long of a wait you have. I have not encountered any rudeness from any staff member, and while there is a couple individuals who could use some work on their sticking, the other individuals have been great.

The only bad thing about this place is how long it takes to get in and out. I can come in at 7:45 and not get stuck until 9:30. When I first started coming I was always in and out in at least an hour and a half. Now it takes your entire morning or evening to get out. The employees have no urgency about their work.

Thet are nice till you try a diffrent place then they are down right rude. They dont listen or pay attention. The lady had my dates wrong and swore she was a god and knew it all.. This is after it took 30 mins and 20 calls to get some.one to pick up

Snotty, rude and unprofessional. Not trained appropriately for the work. And this was the phleb IN CHARGE. I would NEVER recommend this location. Go somewhere else for your own well being.

Both times i donated, technicians couldnt get needle right, second time they blew my vain now i have 4 inch bruise on my arm. Not worth the time. only donated twice to save a life.

Went to help people in need but for the horrible attitudes and service you get from the staff, we should be getting paid a lot more. Horrible customer service, HORRIBLE!

As far as plasma donation goes, this is a nice place to go. Clean environment, nice people (when you treat them with respect), and good pay back.
