This is my favorite thrift store in Salem. I mostly shop for clothing and I find it all to be VERY reasonably priced. The prices that I see are always better than goodwill and I even find a lot of things that are better quality. But the best part about this thrift store is the feeling that you get after you purchase, that you are actually helping people! I get a better feeling after shopping here than I do good at Goodwill. At Teen Challenge I can directly see what they are doing to better the community and help those in need. I love this thrift and would recommend it to everyone!

This place is great to visit when your son or daughter is in need of new furnature as they leave the house. Other people have mentioned this as well, but they currently have a nice collection of office chairs donated by the Hilton; the person I was talking to at the store mentioned the chairs were worth $750 while they were new, and they were still in near-optimal condition. We got the chair for ~$80. It is also important to note that the thrift store has a 20% off sale day every Saturday, so if you plan to make a purchase, then is the day to do it.

In some ways it is a fantastic yard sale, in other ways it falls short of being an excellent thrift store. Very friendly folks, not always punctual with their hours. Still, it is worth a peek when you are passing through. I think what they do not have is a color coding system that weeds out stuff that has been there for years, so there is stuff that just sits there until it sells, sits there for years.

Great bargains to be found. They have desks every time i go. Also have various chairs, tables, clearance section and weekly deals. Mostly clothing and furniture. I did see a lot of framed art work that was in great condition! Nice staff too. Thanks for letting me wonder at my pace and look at all the interesting items. I spent under $15 !!

This is a great place to go for a variety of things. I always head to the books and movies section, but they have a lot of clothes, dishes, kids toys, etc. The staff are always friendly and it goes for a good cause. They often have 50% off sales so just watch for the people outside with the signs. We keep coming back here!

I was Gould that the Kinney goes to help kids in treatment. For drugs. But. Adults have to pay it themselves. I think the parents should have to.
