Horrible employees at this shelter. I am currently homeless, I have lived in Alamance county for a Year, I came here today looking for a bed. He lied saying they didnt have any(ONLY BC HE KNOW MY BM WHO ONCE LIVED IN THE SAME SHELTER). He said if i show proof that i been working and living in burlington he would talk to me. I pulled up 6months on paystubs and he still denied me shelter (ONLY BC HE KNOW MY Childrens Mother). SO TONIGHT I WILL BE SLEEPING OUTSIDE!!!!! GREAT SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.....Yea right, u gotta be kidding me!!! Im 23 im a father and I just want to have shelter while i find a new job and find a place to live, THis man looked me in my face I showed him EVERYTHING HE ASKED FOR AND STILL I WILL BE SLEEPING OUTSIDE TONIGHT....WHILE THEY HAVE A LARGE AMOUNT OF BEDS THEY COULD OFFER TO A YOUNG MAN IN A HARD SPOT.
