My experiences donating blood to OneBlood have been mostly positive. They give you a choice of soda or water while you are in the chair donating. They hook you up with some snacks when you are done. Usually they give you a $10 Gift Card if you are donating at a Publix or a Walmart. There are other offers, so check their website. The only issue I have had is with how they do the needle stick: On 2 occasions they had to use my other arm. This left the first arm with bruises for a few days. Were they always friendly to me? Yes. Did they make it a hassle to donate? No.
