Best place to go book shopping. Not just for any books. They have antique books even turn of the century. I lived in La Mesa for 4 years and would get my coffee @ Cosmos and then go over to Maxwells to browse around at books at least 3 times a week. The owner is a real nice guy and his wife is pleasant too. Good people, a HUGE collection of books. Well categorized and well priced for original prints too.
