The Hope Chest seems to havemore and more rarities as times get tough.Weller vase only 14.00 ,amazing japanese tea pot collections, books galore 50%off on Tuesdays,and kids clothes all- 99cents are a few of the thrills I had Tuesday.I love this place and the staff are really helpful and friendly. I went because all the money (except operating expenses ) goes to Hospice.

It was 6:05 and my 3 year old needed the bathroom and they had already closed it. I understand they have their schedules and their policies but 3 year olds cannot hold it like adults can. What kind of person would rather a 3 year old pee themselves that open the bathroom for them. I like the selection of items and I shop ther often but costumer service has never been friendly.

I picked up a lot of great books at this specific Hospice Thrift store location. I also enjoyed looking at all of the classic vinyl records offered for sale. I once bought a phone circa 1930s for less than $25! One other time, I missed out on buying an authentic looking WWII bomber jacket. This is the 2nd best thrift store in Modesto, CA.

They use all their proceeds from sales to the unfortunate people that can not afford care in their final days before passing away. It is such a blessing to see people doing this for families that are already stressed and burdened.
