I am presently the proud owner of a Championship White Honda Civic Type R, but purchasing the vehicle was a terrible experience due to the poor service received from Honda City in Levittown, NY. From the very beginning Honda City’s representatives were dishonest. Over the phone I explained to the representative, Anthony, that I wanted to come in and purchase the vehicle cash as soon as it comes in Saturday, since I had a flight on Monday morning and would subsequently be out of the country. He assured me that my appointment on Saturday was indeed to buy the vehicle and that they “would not waste your time.” While I was not shocked about the $10,000 mark up when I arrived accompanied by my in-laws (I expected that every dealership would force an added dealer mark up for a rare vehicle), I was surprised when the salesman informed me that there was already a deposit on the vehicle and I had to wait until Monday 12 noon to confirm that the first prospective buyer was not approved for financing. As per the manager, Shafiq, “I can offer apologies but there is nothing we can do about that now.” I placed the maximum allowable deposit on the car and postponed my flight to await the final verdict. On Monday noon came and went and despite a few text exchanges with the salesman there was still no confirmation that I could make the purchase. I called the dealership and Shafiq’s tone was that of anger that I kept inquiring about the car. As per Shafiq “I know what I told you on Saturday and I said there was going to be a wait.” I reminded him that Saturday’s conversation was with 2 other witnesses present, my in-laws, and we were all present listening to him on speaker phone and we all heard him clearly say that I would have confirmation by noon about the car. Then the story became “we don’t even have the MSO yet so you can’t drive off with it anyway.” I explained that I understood the need for the MSO to take it off the lot, but I didn’t understand why I couldn’t make the final purchase and give Honda City the remaining balance that I had in my hand in the form of certified bank checks. I was practically begging Honda City to take my money. When I reminded him that now all of these delays were costing me additional money in postponed and missed flights, his response was “why don’t you just take your trip and we’ll figure it out when you get back,” as if I didn’t have limited time to make the purchase and there weren’t other prospective buyers eager to buy the car. When it became clear that I wasn’t going to leave the country without purchasing the car Shafiq put me on a long hold and then returned to say he had an “uncomfortable” talk with all of his managers and I can come purchase the car. My family and I returned to the dealership and I completed all of the paperwork. Then I found out that Shafiq knew the financing for the first deposit had fallen through since 11:30am. Another prospective buyer had walked in that same morning offering $52,000 for the vehicle, so the delay was to see if he was serious. Shafiq was trying to discourage me from completing the purchase because if I failed to pay the balance in a timely fashion they could sell it for even more money. He wanted to upset me so that I could give up and either leave the country without the car or ask for my deposit back. Honda City is a horribly dishonest dealership. If I ever choose to buy another Honda after this terrible experience it definitely won’t be from them.

I leased a 2013 Honda Odyssey Touring on December 6,2012. As soon as we took the car (with 4 miles on it) my husband noticed clear as day there was a problem with the blind side indicator. He turned around and brought the car right back to the dealer and saw manager Herbie Santos who said he couldnt help that the car needed to be serviced (it was ours for 5 mins at this point). He gladly gave us his cell number and said to call if we needed him. Saturday morning we brought it to the service dept and about 4 hours later we were told to come pick the vehicle back up that they had to order the part and for our inconvience they would have their service manager come to my house tuesday morning pick up my vehicle and leave a loaner car. After not hearing from anyone by 11:00 am and after leaving multiple messages with the sales manager and the service dept I called herbie on his cell (which he supplied to us and to call if we needed ANYTHING) and he very rudely told me I would have to wait for him to get to the office to help me instead of telling me he will call the office and have someone call me.We finally got a call back from another manager at the service dept who advised me they will finally be sending out one of their workers to come get my vehicle. We will see what happens next. This whole ordeal was totally unacceptable.there should have been a full inspection done to the vehicle before they sold it. The help and responses that we have received so far from Honda City have been horrible. I would not recommend this dealer to ANYONE.

Well I must say, having my first dealership experience combined with my first experience leasing a BRAND NEW CAR, I absolutley must say a great experience was had at Honda City in Levittown New York! Searching for weeks I went out of my way to stop on at Honda city and long and behold that was the best decision ever! Normally you worry about a salesmen jumping down your throat when you walk into a dealership, it was completely opposite of that. I was greeted In a relaxed and friendly manner and was seated with not just "salesperson" but and overall genuine and nice guy that I could connect with and begin my search for the right deal. That guy was a gentleman named Erick Batista. Beginning with a "hello" and ending with a " it was nice to meet you" my needs were met and a great experienced was added to my book. If I had to recommend a Honda dealer and specifically a specific person to sit with it would have to be this man Erick Batista. Not only was he a really nice guy, he had all the answers to my questions, very upfront knowledge, and personable people skills which to me is key. Thank you Erick Batista for getting me in an excellent and affordable car with no hassle and a great outcome! 10/10 sales experience 10/10 dealership experience and 10/10 pleasure from the vehicle I have chosen which is the 2016 Honda Accord sport.

I recently visited Honda City to scope out a new car as my lease was ending. My dad had upgraded his car a few weeks prior and dealt with Nico Levinas. I had gone in with strict guidelines as to what I wanted to pay and what I was looking for. Nico was great at "being real with me" and guided me towards the accord. He took his time answering all my questions and waited patiently as I calculated and re-calculated everything, going back and forth outside to re-look at the cars. Nico bent over backwards to make sure I would have my car the following day. There was a slight error in my previous lease and it ended up I had 4 months left (I originally thought I had 1). Because I had gone through a private bank, I would have been left to pay the last 4 months myself ($800). After speaking with Nico, he could sense my disappointment and frustration as my payments would increase. He again came through, went above and beyond to make sure my last 4 months would be taken care of!!! Working with him was a breeze and his professionalism is unmatched. If ever going to Honda City in Levittown, you must meet with Nico!

Just got a used (practically new with great mileage) honda civic lx coupe from Honda City for an amazing price. Had a great smooth and easy process all through out with Sales & Lease consultant Daniel Turin, Pre-owned Sales Manager Steve Berkowitz and F&I Manager Jonathan Camacho. Daniel showed us around and was extremely helpful, friendly and very professional in giving us all kinds of options in search for the car that would take me to work & school. He was very knowledgeable and really directed us being genuinely interested in helping us find what we were looking for. Steve was great in finalizing and treated us clients like family no stress, no drama and made the process painless. And Jonathan took care of the finance. He was great and extremely helpful. I had a great experience at Honda City and would definitely recommend it to my friends. Thank you Daniel, Steve and Jonathan for amazing and comfortable experience every step of the way.

My husband and I were in the showroom on Saturday and had a test drive with Bruce who was very nice and helpful. Then when time to negotiate he had to get a manager because he was new. The manager gave a price we thought was high. When he came over to discuss the price we said he was very condescending and instead of trying to work out a price started asking us how much we thought the dealership should make on a car. I attempted to tell him that he is getting off course and what was the best price and we would shop around and if it was the best deal then the sale would go through. He ignored me and continued to drill my husband about what the dealership would make. We left at that point and are going to another Honda dealership which I hope has better customer service then this one otherwise we will go with a different company totally. I feel bad that Bruce lost a sale because his manager was so arrogant.

Just bought a 2013 CRV from Honda City. The experience was terrific. I worked with sales consultant Christoper Pena and he was very professional and up front. No bait and switch. When I told him I was only interested in the EX L model, he brought that specific model for a test drive so I would be able to see all that came with the car. He explained everything that came with that model. When we negotiated price he was fair and did not engage in deception. When I mentioned the color I was interested in, he arranged for my wife to test drive by the inventory lot so he could show us the specific car we would be purchasing. Wayne, the F and I Manager, was fair and honest also. All in all, a very good car buying experience. I would recommend Honda City and especially sales consultant Christopher Pena to any of my friends or family members seeking a vehicle.

Having already spoken with a salesperson several days before, I went back to Honda City this afternoon with the intention of finalizing a car purchase. While working to negotiate a final price, the salesperson called over the manager, Nico. I was never so insulted in my life! In trying to make his point of why the dealership was not willing to offer anything further, he was arrogant, condescending, and downright rude. He clearly had no social skills or respect for me as a customer. I was so offended by his demeanor with me that I stopped the conversation and got up and walked out. I went to another dealer who was willing to listen and work with me in a respectful manner. I bought the car from them on the spot. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Honda City nor will I be recommending the dealership to anyone else.

I needed a good pre-owned economical car. I was thinking Accords for a bit more room, but had some reservations about my price range. My salesman - Daniel Molina - did not force the issue. I asked about Civics and he showed me some nicely equipped, low mileage Civics. The cars were impeccably clean and mechanically sound. I was able to do the deal and drive home within 36 hours of my initial inquiries. I went in ready for the fight; ready to be swindled; ready for all of the worst case car dealer stories. Dan put me at ease immediately. At no point did I feel pressured or coerced into spending more than I could. He worked with me and I have since raved to anyone who would listen about my excellent treatment. Keep up the great work!

I went to Honda City in Levittown,NY where I had bought my previous 2008 Civic LX. I was helped by Steven Alesi and Chafik Bouattoura. It was a great experience! Steve took time to view the inventory with me and answered all my questions, as did Chafik. I purchased a car for a really good price, and Steve came to my house to remove the license plates from my old car (which I was giving to my daughter), drove me back to the showroom and put the plates on the new car. He then sat with me in the new car, showed me all the new features, and answered more questions. He also has made himself available on the phone. The whole process went very smoothly, and within just 3 hrs., I drove off in my beautiful new car!
