I have been volunteering/visiting/shopping at AoR for nearly 4 years now. I work with adults with intellectual disabilities and AOR is even amazing at opening their arms and resources to the company I work for! They are constantly go above and beyond what the majority of businesses do, in order to see their community thriving and happy! In response to Alex Knight, I not only know Chelas and Mr. special from volunteering, but from personal friendship and they have NEVER yanked an object from a child. Let alone laid their hands on them. They have a heart for children, AND ANY CHILDS SAFETY. If you do not want someone else "parenting" your child, do not leave them in a position to do so. You are in a business, not a play house. Be responsible enough to keep an eye on your child and maybe rethink your approach. Thank God someone had an eye on the child, for if she ingested something off the floor you would only be complaining about that. You sir, need a bit of commons courtesy and business etiquette.

Excellent venue for parents and children to come craft. The craft castle is available for free for older children to experiment with creativity and create wonderful puppets or whatever. Small children may need some supervision, as small parts are easy to swallow, but most parents SHOULD already realize this. Ms. Chelas and Mr. Nobody Special are the creative directors for this wonderful wonderland of art and craft, and I know them both to have big hearts and exciting ideas. Mr. Special can be seen at the Ephrata Park on concert nights making balloon animals. They are a team! Go as soon as you can. This is a very neat addition to the artistic community of Ephrata.

I have been going here for many years and can see the heart that chelas and nobody have poured into this amazing place. It is a great space for kids with so much to do and see including a craft castle where you can make finger puppets (I admit even as an adult making them is really fun). The community outreach focus of their business has helped make ephrata a great place to live. I highly recommend this magical place to everyone.

My first time visit today was awesome! I found some Fall foliage, a cute Halloween sign, window clings and seashells! Wonderful prices and friendly people to help you. Added bonus... she has a dog named Mufasa that is so lovable. I will definitely be going back to see him... I mean see the new items she puts out ;) Review by Crystal Humphries

Our children love visiting Art of Recycle! They have an abundance of free materials available for kids to create their very own finger puppets and an area (tree house) designated for them to perform their own shows! We really appreciate this gem in our community!

Wish we could give them 6 stars instead of the "typical" 5. I say this as AoR is not your typical business. The staff is always kind and goes above and beyond. My children love coming here to craft and play in the tree house. Keep up the good work AoR!!!

Art of recycle is the most awesome and best place in the world! My children beg me every week to stop in and look around and do crafts. This place has been a most wonderful and magical inspiration to me, my children, family and even my friends!

We were only at AoR once and my 3 1/2 year old LOVED it!!! We will definitely be going again!!! And I always keep a close eye on my child, I never assume the staff needs to babysit while I shop. Some people run all over people. Sad.
