Nothing about these people is about making money. Everything they do goes to support their goals of providing low cost used bikes to those who need them. Halfway houses so Parolees can get to work release. Kids who are just dirt poor. The run a warehouse just full of complete bikes, parts bikes, plain ol bike parts etc....Kids in the local neighborhood just show up to get the bikes fixed, or tire changed. The kids are taught how to do everything themselves as well. These folks show up at community fairs, block parties Church festivals etc.. with a mobile trailer and just fix bikes the whole time. A few week back they hauled 80 bikes down to Baltimore to go into a shipping container heading to Ghana. If you can buy a bike from them you are suporting their efforts. Bottom line,, just plain ol good folks, and certainly worthy of support. Might even start a Kiva for them.
