I have always felt this was the largest and best-stocked of the various DI thrift stores in Salt Lake valley (dunno about Provo valley). It is the central sorting/donating facility also. Clothing is generally in much better condition than they used to sell 10 yrs ago, and usually put on the floor with the seasons (such as not selling coats in the summer, swimsuits in winter, etc). Jeans range from $6-10 depending on size/condition, tshirts about $4, nicer shirts or blouses $4-6, shoes $4-10, belts $2, skirts $6, not sure about coats. Never had a problem with being treated bad here. (What does a "blatant LDS" person look like anyway?) Nor have I had to deal with management either, usually I just check out my items and on my way. EDIT: I stocked a whole kitchen here when I was in college

I have gotten so many things I absolutely love from this store! Complete outfits for low price. I have found name brands and good quality and amazed as a tall person I found a pair of mustard yellow pants from banana republic with the tag still on that fit perfectly for $8!! Recently got several quality shirts I LOVE!! And I was so impressed with a magnetic marble game that had all the pieces, just 1 taped item but it was in great condition, included instructions and was only $3! It is so awesome when you construct it- my kids love it! Thank you DI for the big Mom Win!

Had the WORST experience here. we bought a chair from the yard area and pulled around back to pick it up. the guys that put it in the trunk STOLE my backpack out of the back. my backpack with my diabetic meds, medical things and money. Things I really needed. money I worked so hard for. it was about 2 hours after I left and realized it was gone. I went back and so conveniently nobody knew what happened to it. makes me so mad. PEOPLE are just total scum these days.

Just dropped office a rather large donation. Been donating here for years. My husband and I were going through our things for donation behind the building before pulling up, so as not to crowd the drop off area. An employee came out and accused us of stealing a pair of shoes. Check your cameras before you go around accusing innocent people. We will no longer be donating to you.

I bought a piece of glass for $10. A week later, same size piece of glass was now $20. Many things get over priced. I asked if they would take $15 instead of $20 and one of the managers said it was fine, but another manager standing there , Kojo, said no. He was very rude and gives a better deal to certain patrons but not others.

My favorite DI in the greater Salt Lake/ Utah county area. Huge selection, not picked through (like downtown can be sometimes), good prices (unlike Sandy), lots of great womens clothing and housewares, large building, modern clothing in both professional work and casual styles.

I found a sturdy, clean recliner/rocker at this DI today. When I needed assistance, there was a very helpful young man nearby who was very professional and helpful. I enjoy finding great bargains and occasionally some treasures at the DI!

Dirty grimey used miscellaneous items. Dusty dirty floors, shelves, entire interior of warehouse type store. Most items not worth buying. Overpriced used furniture very poor condition and dirty.

This is a very clean and organized store. The shelves are not so over-loaded that one can not see the merchandise. The prices are reasonable so the programs that DI sponsor are easy to support.

Since this location is in the heart of a populated area there are all sorts of high quality items that come through that are fairly priced and if your lucky you will find a collectable or two.

I used to love DI but they have gotten popular with the recent trend to refurbish furniture and decorate with fabric from clothes and their prices have gone way up.

Great place to recycle old clothing, furniture and electronics. Will not take tube televisions but can drop off at Sandy City maintenance building.

Prices are to high. Shirts that are used at Deseret Industries for $5.00. I get new for $3.00 at Rue 21. So your deals are not deals.
