Coon Rapids Chrysler saved the day!! After just finishing with a huge debacle with another dealership, and as a result not getting our car from them, I turned to CR Chrysler. On a Thursday afternoon, on a whim, I opened a chat window on my computer, and was greeted by a very nice saleslady by the name of Carolyn Hagen. I explained my situation, and what I was looking for in our vehicle, and she right away took my contact info and headed out to look. Just a few minutes later, I received an email that she had found just the car we were looking for, but that it needed to be brought in from another dealership. She sent me a .pdf of the window sticker, and it had everything we wanted. By Friday afternoon I had a deposit in for them to transport the car in, and by Saturday, the car was at the lot. Carolyn was in constant communication with me via texts and email, and I knew she genuinely cared that we get the car we wanted. When we arrived Saturday afternoon at the dealership, we were greeted by a salesman, and led to Carolyn’s desk. Carolyn was happy and smiling, and led us to our vehicle to test drive. The drive went excellent! We were able to make the deal, close the deal, and leave the lot with our new car! Carolyn made sure that we were comfortable. Everything was explained to us thoroughly, and we got our dream car! Carolyn went above and beyond our expectation of what a salesperson should be. Each step of the transaction went smoothly. She answered every question I asked promptly, and was very understanding. From the first chat, to the emails and texts, to pics of the car once it arrived, to the test drive, and the closing of the deal, she was there! She did an awesome job, and is a wonderful person! She’s great at what she does, and I think it was such a breath of fresh air, that she actually cared about us and our needs! Thank you so much for everything, Carolyn! By the way, I’ve never hugged my salesperson before, but I couldn’t help but hug you! Thanks for being there :)

Loved it is too strong of an emotion because buying a car sucks. Especially buying a used one. But Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram had the free car fax history available online for me to look at and the car I choose came with their lifetime powertrain warranty. Carolyn Hagen was very attentive as we emailed back and forth before I was able to make it out to the dealership. They closed at 6pm on Friday. I was able to speed out there that snowy night, arriving at 5:30 and she had the car running and all warmed up. They gave me more than I expected for my trade and I had my financing all lined up. Carolyn and the finance dude, Amar Lowe quickly put everything together and got me out the door by 7pm. As I sum up my rambling, my wife is getting a vehicle in the next month and we will be going back to see Carolyn.

We are overall pleased with the vehicle we purchased. However, the Sales Associate Cam is why we are rating this dealership so low. He seemed un-interested in telling us the features of the van and when specifically asked if a navigation system could be installed he told us -yes it had all the parts. Find out after we purchased that it could be installed but, no it did not have any parts and therefore would cost us thousands over what we thought when purchasing. We had also called and left a message regarding a missing door piece a few day later. He never returned the call nor did he tell anyone in the Service Dept. about it. Save yourself the headache/money and work with anyone but him if you purchase a vehicle from them. His follow thru is poor as is his interest in his job.

I went to the dealer all the way from the south of the twin cities, not really knowing if the SUV I wanted and liked was going to be worth the drive or time, but the lovely lady Carolyn Hagen described the SUV as well as she possibly could. When i got to the dealer the SUV was warm and ready and performed as decribed! She anwsered all my questions and let me test drive it and re-assured me that the vehicle was in great condition to fully test it. I was impressed with the promised expectations and honesty from Carolyn I am very pleased with the way the dealer made this whole expierience go for me and my family! :) Now thanks to them this Year will be even more fun with our Famliy trips! Service department, i brought my work vehicle in to be looked at, had an appointment. They never called me to tell me what was going on with the repairs. I called at 4 and they told me, after waiting on hold for 30 mins, that a shop they work with was on the way to look at it to see if they could do the repairs and i would receive a call before the days end. I still have yet to receive a call about the status of my vehicle. The customer service is terrible. Not sure if this is a Chrysler issues as i have had this issue with the service department at other dealerships as well. I would not buy a chrysler product for the simple fact that they have such terrible customer service after they sold you the car.

WARNING - do not buy from this dealer! They are dishonest and definitely NOT customer service oriented. I signed paperwork to purchase a vehicle 3 weeks ago and before I picked it up, the car got damaged on their lot from hail. I agreed to still buy the car as long as they fixed everything. During the 3 WEEKS IT TOOK FOR THEM TO GET THE HAIL DAMAGED TRIM IN, they sold the car to another buyer! I have all the signed paperwork and someone else has the car I purchased! This dealership fixed the hail damage in house and asssured me it would not be reported on car fax. BEWARE - make sure you get full disclosure that any car your interested in was not damaged and fixed in house!

We had a HORRIBLE experience with them. We had to call a week straight for someone to call us back with our vehicle. NOBODY seemed to know where it was or when it would even be looked at. FINALLY a manger called and kept us up to date. We were finally given a date when our vehicle was completed; after they had our car for 3 weeks... were we given a chance for a courtesy car. BUT, NOT A CAR... but to put our name on a list for one; which our vehicle would be completed in a couple days from that point. Then, when we picked up the car they said that it would be out front and kept repeating that; it was NOT UP FRONT. It was in the back corner of the parking lot!!!!

I recently purchased a Ram 1500 from Coon Rapids Chrysler and it was the best car buying experience I have ever experienced. Carolyn Hagen was my Sales Consultant and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Carolyn was incredibly professional, courteous, professional, and was very in-tune with my vehicle needs. On top of all of that (and more importantly), Carolyn is a gem of a human being and she has a heart the size of Minnesota! The mold was broken after Carolyn was born. She made the buying experience FUN and I even got a big bear hug from her once we inked the deal. Without question, I will return to Carolyn for all of my future car buying needs.

From my first contact with my salesman, Alex Boone, I was treated with kindness and respect. Alex helped me through an unusual purchase b/c we were purchasing for our son who is serving our Country overseas. Every step of the way, Alex was there to answer all my concerns and questions. As to the financing department, Charlie could not have been more helpful. With our unique situation, Charlie was always considerate to our needs and helped with the paperwork process from start to end. I will most definitely deal with Alex and Charlie for future auto purchasing. It was the best experience!

Jenn Kunkel made my trade/buying experience awesome. I came in late on a busy Saturday and she was very accommodating and really listened to me. They gave me a fair offer on my older model car, unlike another dealer that really insulted me with a ridiculously low offer. The few times I needed to talk to her, even on her night off, she took my call and was very professional. I enjoyed working with the finance guys as well, Charlie and Drew. The whole staff made my new purchase wonderful. I am sold on this dealership and will be back when my wife is ready to trade in her vehicle.

I just bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram that I am in love with! Working with Robert Fredenburgh was wonderful. During the test drive, he was unbelievably knowledgeable about the vehicle. He took me through every single feature of the car, and was honest about everything (which is very important to me). Financing was a breeze, my trade in was handled propperly, and I drove away with a vehicle within 1 hour and 30 minutes of my stepping into the dealership. I bought a new Town and Country from the internet sales department last month. Negotiation was by email and quick and to the point. In fact their first offer was exactly where I expected to land for price. This was nice since I went to them after not being able to come to resolution with another dealer. Buying the car was completed in about 2 hours --including a test drive, vehicle review, trade-in, and all paperwork. There was no pressure to buy anything additional. Overall, this was my best car buying experience ever (of the 6 cars that I have bought so far).

Such an awesome experience. I went in just to look at a couple of trucks, not sure that I would really leave with a new purchase. I was met my Mark Cheney at the front door. He was able to get me a test drive in all 4 vehicles I had scoped out online. A quick and painless couple of hours later, I got the financing I walked in with, with an outstanding warranty and a Grand Cherokee I am in love with! I recently purchased a very expensive used vehicle here because it was exactly what I needed, not because of the customer service. They blatantly lied about a mechanical issue and I was forced to pay for the problem myself soon after buying the auto. I took it to a mechanic while test-driving inorder to cover my bases, and then when I came back to ask the salesman about it, he lied through his teeth. I then found it very unsettling to try and negotiate, what a horrible experience, I would never suggest this dealer to anyone.

Mack was great from the moment we first spoke on the phone, when I was checking on the vehicles my wife was interested in. He was very friendly, but not in the typical "I just want to sell cars," type you get at most dealers. Over the course of a few days we were able to make an unpressured purchase. Mack even helped the detailing crew get it ready when we picked up so our infant would be home in time for his nap. Charlie in finance, was equally kind and not pushy either. We are pleased with the purchase and the experience.
