Wow! Today was a complete disaster- The employees there need to understand the importance of DONOR SAFETY. During my DC i asked the employee MRS. TALIA if she could change her gloves because they had iodine on them and i am allergic to shellfish and iodine. Irritated-she shook her head at me then went and changed her gloves when she came back she started to wrap my arm with the latex bandage i asked her if she could get latex free because i am allergic to latex she told me im irritatung her and someine else would have to take me down. She left me there bleeding out. I had to get up and go get help for myself. UNEXCEPTABLE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL..

Certain staff were very pleasant and professional but others were not. Walking into the center being a new donor it was not a good look seeing an employee saying "what the hell is going on". This center was understaffed and it made the wait time unpleaset and long. Also I do not understand why if the building closes at 7:00 why are more and more individuals allowed inside up until that time. It was hard in the staff that were there and not having much help. That needs to be addressed !! Hopefully management takes these reviews seriously and strive for change

Everytime i Go, They Are Either Messing Up My Veins Or My Money. After My 5th Time Going, They Messing Something Up. Most Of The People In there Dont Even Have Their Phlebotomy Certificates. Today I Got Stuck 3 Times And All Of Them Did Not Lnow What to So. They Be So distracted By Each Other....There Is more Conversations Than Anything.

The staff here has been very friendly and professional. My first donation experience was last month at another local center with great staff but the system is slow and painfully long. This Octapharma is faster and presently offering the most competitive compensation on the Southside, IF your weight is > 150 lbs.

Always understaffed! Waiting time is terribly slow!! The ones who do show up for work seem to hate it,they are always grumbling about how much they hate their jobs. most of the techs are nice enough, they just are obviously over-worked.
