This thrift store is really confusing. It is in a giant warehouse with a dirt lot. The people who work there are not pleasant or do they operate as one would expect a "store" to operate. There is no obvious door and while there are tons of fun decorative signs in the store, none obviously state they only accept cash or check! They did not announce they were closing, they just turned off all the lights and closed the garage door, and then leered at people. The woman behind the cash register finally shouted "We are closed, come pay here." We got to the register, and I gave her a stack of books I had spent an hour digging out. She was pleasant until I handed her my bank card, THEN she told me they accept cash only. I moved over to dig in my purse to see if I had cash, and I said, "Maybe next time," to my boy friend as I started to dig through my purse, and she took the books and threw them hard into a bin behind the register and made grumpy noises at me, not waiting to see if I had cash. No one was in line behind me. They have a bunch of trashy stuff there, and they either do not receive "good" donations, or the "good" stuff goes else where. Pretty disappointing selection, aside from the excess of books.

Always a great deal. What all second hand stores should model themselves after. Very few fixed prices, load your cart, take up to counter, receive one price for entire cart. I have b ever paid more than $20.°° for entire cart. never loaded with clothing, only the good stuff.

This is the best Trift Store EVER! They are the cheapest place I have ever shopped. The staff is BRILLIANT! I wish I could go there EVERY DAY! Nancy says they get her whole check! The Adjutant is AWESOME! The guys on the Truck are FANTASTIC!

Until recently what set DAV apart from other thrift stores in Prescott were their great prices which have now been raised too high for used items. Other than that they have a good variety of clothing and furniture for sale.

Heard a lot of good things about it but i wasnt too impressed. No prices on things, they just give u a price at the counter. Furniture is pricy.
