I have shopped this goodwill store for over a decade. I have seen it move from run down stores to their new building as well as go through many terrible managers and cashiers. While the customer service seems to have improved, the pricing is outrageous at this store. On a recent shopping trip, I was able to buy brand new items (baby & kids PJs) at Target & Kmart cheaper than similar items were priced at the Goodwill. I do not go there nearly as often as I used to, but when I do there is a constant rumbling from the customers about the prices. I have heard cashiers saying that this store is the Kansas store of the year. I forsee this store falling to the bottom of the pack if they continue to price their items higher than new items at discount stores. It is also harder to find quality items in this store. There are many items on the racks with holes or stains. If these items are a name brand they are marked even higher than their normally high price even though they are damaged. I am guessing that the racks are so full of clothing because of the prices. Buyers may buy a used t-shirt for a craft project etc. when it is 99 cents, but when it is $2.00, you are better off to get a new one at Hobby Lobby with a discount coupon you can print online. I do shop at the Salina Goodwill for particular items, but if they are marked up, I will not purchase them. I go spend my money at one of the other 3 thrift stores in Salina. I do shop at Goodwills in other cities as they still seem to have reasonable prices. I am not sure why this store takes items they get for FREE and mark them so high. I would think the company goal is to make money for the Easter Seals, not to be find the best store in the state. Hard to believe this Goodwill survived all of the crazy managers it had and now will go under because of their pricing issues.

Staff not so friendly. Waited a very long time for an unoccupied fitting room. Asked 2 people to help. Ended up having some little kid go under the doors to open them for a line of people waiting to try on clothes. Thank you to the Mom and her child for all your help.
