Roughly 3pm called to ask what time donations accepted until, they said close. Sweet I packed up the extra faberware pans that arent being used, the coke glasses, and some Halloween decorations and went off to Island Thrift. I got there 9 min before 4pm, and see a sign that they only take donations until 4pm. Go in to inquire about it being highly frustrated. Yes the lady apologizes that they only take until 4pm. I had 2 small boxes of stuff and yet it was before 4pm as it was. But nope it is closed. Very much a waste of time and fuel.

Worth a visit periodically - clothing/books/housewares often attractively priced and sometimes real deals. The really good stuff goes fast as always at any thrift shop so you want to get there soon after they put goods on the shelves (often early in the day). Much of my yard work and home repair clothing comes from local thrift shops - including some very tough garb that grease/paint/stains have not impacted.

Nice place, sad no discount for all the senior citizens that go there. Prices sneaking little higher every time I go there. Some people that work there on the rude side but they have clean store and lots of good ideas.

Island Thrift Store is just a real good little place overall they have something for everyone and their prices are very competitive and I have bought a lot of stuff from them and I wish them well

Sometimes they need more people in the front. Always a line to check out. But nice place, well organized and access to a clean public bathroom -- which is a big deal.

Very well organized for a thrift store. Good amount of kids toys and clothes, not much furniture. 4 stars since it is sort of small, so minus one for that.
