Tonight I had a horrible experience shopping at my favorite Goodwill in Yuba City. I was at the cash register at exactly 9:00 PM (05/24/17). The closing manager Mackinzi said sorry, with a big grin, I cashed out the drawers and my register says it is 9:01 PM. She was extremely rude and said I would have to come back tomorrow. I showed her the time on my phone showing that it was 9:00 PM. She continued to rudely state she would not help me. I said I would report this to her manager and had to argue with her insisting that she reopen her register. She called her boss and was told to check me out with a credit card. She never announced at 9PM like every other Goodwill to bring final your final purchases to the front. She lied to her boss that it was 9:01 PM when I arrived at the register. Pretty sad considering my money pays her paycheck. I had 14 items and my receipt shows 9:03:53 PM. I had to argue with her for a few minutes at 9:00 PM. Clearly she closed out her drawer before 9:00PM. Next time I will hurry faster but still there is no excuse for such treatment. She should NOT be managing and would be better suited not working with customers!

This place is a wreck! Most of the staff are rude and the prices are high and inconsistent. You can look at two exact items and see two different prices. Speaking of the prices, they keep going up. Why have high prices on items that you get for free? So they can keep paying the employees crap wages? $5.19 for a clear glass vase is ridiculous. $15.20 for a non-working stereo? Really? They wonder why the shelves stay full of crap, the sales are down, and they barely meet sales goals on 1/2 price holiday sales. Try lowering ALL of your prices and your stuff might actually sell.

I visited in hopes of buying a floor lamp, but had no luck. Though, they had many sizes & styles of both ones for desk/table tops and lampshades. The store is pretty big, decent variety, and great organization in the sections, which is where many thrift shops tend to neglect. I will definitely be back!

Went to buy an item, as I entered an employee welcomed me. As I asked for what I was looking for another employee helped me. In a matter of minutes, I found what I was looking for. Thanks to these helpful staff.

There prices have sky rocketed, really sad. Sure not there for the people. There shelves are a mess. I have cut myself more times than I want to remember. To bad I love to shop at second hand stores.

Prices are decent but watch your bags at check out the cashiers like to have u pay for stuff but hide it or keep bags from you. So pay attention to that!!!
