2 prices on several items. Marked a quarter but written in Crayola $4.95 - was charged the higher price. Not just one item but on all 9 items we purchased this was the case. The place was dirty and disorganized - the staff was not friendly and seemed bothered by you when you asked a question. Take your donations for veterans elsewhere -this store was a disgrace to the name it served. Will not do business or donate here in the future.

I was very pleased with the service I received. After a city wide garage sale north of Ames they made a special trip to pick up a truck load of items. My phone messages were returned quickly and I was treated with respect. This is a wonderful organization I have used several times in another state and will donate to them again without hesitation!

This is hands down my most favorite thrift store ever. Wonderfully reasonable prices, great variety, and they always have a great selection of shoes! A popcorn machine and old 33rpm record albums for sale keep my elderly dad going back, too. A real gem.
