i have donated at csl in Pontiac for over a year. the best thing is the employees are the best and are very concerned for the donors and do their best to make it a pleasant experience. Sometimes the wait is long, yes, but if you go within an hour before they close, is the longest wait times. Getting points and getting a "speed Pass" can allow you to jump to the head of the line. Once in the donation room, it takes at least an hour. i have never had an unpleasant experience and im over age 55. After a while you will see the same donors come in, everyone is very friendly. On Sundays, they usually have a Lions game on the TV for example. i recommend CSL, i have only been to the Pontiac location.

I havent even gone to the Pontiac location yet and im dreading it already. I literally just called to ask a question and was very rudely interrupted. I understand that im not the only person calling in and they currently have donors there, but they pay us for their product and we should be treated like people, not like cattle.

The service was absolutely terrible, the directions that they keep spewing over and over to you are irrelevant after the third time hearing them. I got turned away three hours into the process because I got a tattoo over six months ago, why was this not asked within the first hour?

Very rude and unprofessional, told a client he looked like a "junkie" and police would be contacted if he did not leave the premises. Refused to drug test client to confirm that he was in fact, sober and not on any drugs.

It takes forever to donate here. Give yourself extra time if you decide to go to this location. Like 3 to 4 hours.
