courage center golden valley, Dr Matthew Mosien. if you have pain and chonic pain dont go there all they did to me was investigate me for my medicine I take. They told me to take suboxen. I found this for heroin addicts. That’s how I was treated like a addict not a patient. If you break your femur, hip, wrist, or anything and live with pain don’t go there. I wish someone would told me this before I went. He was a old man that try to touch me after he called me a drug addict. Sick! Please don’t go there if you have pain and take medicine to help you pain they will laugh at you. Try and make you sing forms and investigate you and not treat you as a human your just a number and they don’t care about you. I was dehumanized and laugh at for breaking all my bones and going there today. Do not deal with this dirty old man. There is no help out there for you. Why can’t I be a patient do I not qualify? How do you qualify to get help?

I attended the inpatient program at Courage Center for the purpose of rehabilitation after a stoke. Courage Center focuses on adaptive living skills (ADLs). Their focus is not on rehabilitation. I was told to accept my "disability". They did not provide many services to help me regain function that I had lost as a result of the stroke. My arm actually got worse while I was there from non-use. Courage Center is understaffed in their inpatient program and as a result, they are unable to meet the basic needs of their residents such as tolieting, showering, etc.

I have been suffering for years with joint pain. I now attend warm water pool classes to help with my mobility and it has helped incredibly. I have found the staff helpful and truly wonderful to work with. This place does a whole lot of good for many people and I do not think it gets the praise it deserves.

Courage Kenny rehabilitation institute is a great place with multiple services that include excellent care for complex medical conditions. Mission-driven, caring and experienced. Those who work there are very caring and commited.

The pool is wonderful and therapeutic for my chronic pain. Courage Center is not a SPA or GYM. It exists for people with disabilities. It is basic with no bells and whistles.

The therapy here was good. The nursing care is a mess. Understaffed maybe? Not enough training? Poor leadership? I don’t know. But they need to figure it out.

This organization and the (CRP) Community Reintegration Program was of great help to me after I sustained a TBI in 2010. Bravo!

I would be wary of this place. I did not see courage or compassion by some of the leaders.
