We recently had a bad automobile wreck that totaled our Van and sent my husband John to the hospital for major operations. While visiting John’s surgeon in Canton, we stopped at a local steakhouse and engaged in conversation with our waitress regarding our need for a new automobile. Since John has always been a Ford man, I told her I was looking for a new Ford. She recommended that I visit AutoNation right down the road and said to ask for her friend Ellen Raresheid. I did stop at the dealership and talked to Ellen regarding our needs. After driving the Ford Edge, I decided that was the car I wanted. Ellen explained the options to me and priced a new 2014 Edge, since the new 2015 was being redesigned and not yet available. After comparison of the 2015 and 2014, I decided that I wanted to wait on the 2015 model. Ellen made arrangements to order the 2015 and provided me with the order slip. After a few weeks, the car was still not delivered to the dealership, so Ellen and the sales manager started to see if they could find one anywhere in the country that was equipped the way I wanted. After about a week, they discovered one in Cincinnati, Ohio and sent employees to pick up the car and bring back to Canton. Ellen was wonderful. She kept me informed about the order and attempts to find the car at all times. When the car arrived, she informed me it was there and I went to the dealership to drive MY car. Negotiations on price were acceptable to my husband, and he was really surprised at the discounts AutoNation made available to us. Ellen became more then my sales representative, she became my friend. Therefore, our next car – a replacement for our van in Florida – will definitely come from AutoNation and be sold to us by Ellen Raresheid. If you are in the market for a new – or used – vehicle, I strongly recommend Ellen Raresheid at AutoNation Ford in Canton, Ohio. By the way, we live one and one-half hours from Ellen and AutoNation, but the trip was worth every minute of our time. Jan Goempel East Liverpool, Ohio
Can I give zero stars? I will. WORST service ever! My daughter was involved in an auto accident in DECEMBER. We contacted the dealership, and James Jeter to activate the return of money from our extended warranty. We provided all info to him at that time. We were told 6-8 weeks for the processing of this. So,I call the bank monthly,no payment made. My husband called James (he could never talk to him-all calls went to voice mail),AND emailed James who never returned our emails. Apparently we were not worthy of his time. So,here we are into the month of May,and still no word. I contacted the bank again, who were so helpful, and suggested we take action with the dealership liaison dept. They told me it really should take no longer than 3-4 weeks for that to be processed. Why would it have to get to this point! My husband called James again, and this time,he actually got the honor of speaking to the oh-so-busy James. He said he would "refile" and get back to us. He did get back to us,to ask us ALL the info again that we had already given him in December. Now....where did all that info go-in the trash?? Who knows! I work with the public daily, and I will be sure to tell them of my horrid experience in dealing with this dealership. Come on Ford-monitor the dealers who are selling your product, this is unacceptable. We WILL continue to buy Ford products, but at a dealer who will help, and service us.NEVER again at Mullinax Ford.
We will never purchase another vehicle from Autonation. I took my daughter there because I had such a good experience with Mullinex Ford years prior. She was buying her first car and found a car she loved. It was Tuesday and we told the sales rep as well as the finance person that we would not have the funds for the $2000 down payment they requested until that Friday. The sales rep said that was fine and we could continue with the purchase that day and post date the check for Friday. They processed the check electronically on Wednesday:( this caused a $25 overdraft charge to my checking account. The check was resubmitted and cleared the next Monday. The Sales manager apologized and left a message they would make it right which I assumed meant they would refund the $25 fee. That did not happen...instead Automation debited my checking for an additional $30 fee!!!! If you are keeping track that means they cost me $55 dollars for their mistake that they admitted was a mistake on my voicemail. I can promise this was the last car anyone in my large family and friend group that will be purchased from Autonation.
I would like to thank AutoNation and Mr. Don Brittain for raising the bar in customer service. I really appreciate everything! I highly recommend AutoNation to anyone looking to buy a car or having their automobile serviced. Since day one I have received nothing but excellent customer service from AutoNation. Don Brittain from their service department is amazing in accommodating their customers with only the best customer service one could ever expect. Don has always exceeded our expectations and given the opportunity I know he will exceed yours too. Every time I have worked with Don he has always gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was completely satisfied. Don is also very efficient in his work. I had gave him a list of things that I needed, Not only did the service department have everything done in a timely manner; Don remembered everything I requested and took care of it. Thank You Don Brittain The Whole Service Dept. AutoNation Sincerely Elizabeth Penaflorida
I stopped in the other day, quite frankly, just to kill time as my wife was finishing up our family’s Christmas shopping… This is where I ran into Don, who was very professional and very courteous. He actually spent a good amount of time just talking with me and asking questions even after I told him I was just looking. This is not what I expected from a car salesman at all. My experiences in the past with sales guys always left a bad impression, they were pushy and the second they learned you weren’t buying, they wanted nothing to do with you. I actually feel like I gained a new friend with Don and after spending some time with him, we landed in front of a new Mustang. My sales guy seemed to know this car inside and out and I am very impressed by the vehicle. Although I was not buying that day I have a feeling I may be back soon with a serious intention of buying and the next time if I ever have a friend or family member looking to buy a car, you better believe I’m sending them into AutoNation Ford to see my “car guy” Don!
I have always had a good experience with the service department until yesterday. First off, my 2010 Mustang was on the recall list for the airbag. I realize there were millions on the recall, but my husbands BMW got repaired over a year ago. I called repeatedly to see when mine would be repaired, finally was told to call last week and they would schedule my repair. I called July 11 and the woman who answered the phone said they had not received any airbags and to call at the end of the week. I decided to call the next day and Brian said they had one for me and we scheduled the repair. YES! I went in yesterday for the repair and was told it would take about an hour. After 2 1/2 hours I went and asked what was going on. Oh it was put on the wait pile. Yes, I was waiting!!! I ended up not being able to take my grandsons to the zoo yesterday because I was in the service center for 3 hours! Brian did apologize and gave me a certificate for a free oil change. By the way, I use synthetic oil.
my salesman and the rest of the staff there were very professional and polite! they are a very large volume dealership and sell a lot of cars. it is a very busy place but, everyone was very polite! my wife and i dont have the greatest credit and i was afraid that we would be stuck getting the same old buy here, pay here kind of vehicle that you have to put a ton of money down on but, that was not the case. the salesman asked how much i could put down, i told him 500 bucks and that i wanted a truck and got just that, i got the truck i wanted with a decent interest rate and payment. if you have credit issues, this place will get it done for you! my wife and i drove an hour and a half to the dealership and it was the worth the drive.....so much so that 2 months later, we drove back there again to buy my wife a vehicle. now we both have nice, later models vehicles with warranties. i will continue to purchase my vehicles here and have recommended them to my friends and family
I have been a AutoNation Ford North Canton customer since 2005 and have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealer. My most recent purchase is a certified pre-owned 2011 F-150 Lariat. I absolutely love this truck. Before that, I purchased a 2011 Escape brand new and still own it today. My experiences with AutoNation Ford North Canton have been very pleaseant. My salesman, Michael Jordan and the Finance team as well as the Service Department and all of the associates I have come in contact with whenever I am there have been nothing but excellent. I would rate this dealer with the highest marks for excellence in customer service and for providing an excellent no pressure straight forward sales experience on all of my purchases and service visits. I would definitely recommend this dealer to friends and family and plan to purchase my future vehicles from this dealer as well as continue to service my vehicles here.
My experience with Mullinax Ford in North Canton, Ohio was beyond great. The staff was friendly and beyond helpful in maintaining our comfortability inside the dealership. As for the deal that I got for my car, it was amazing. The effort that the Sean Cross and David Bond had put into this sale was beyond imaginable. I see the effort after the fact while receiving dozens of denial letters for credit. However, after being persistent, they were able to secure a phenomenal deal and provide me with a brand new vehicle that I can afford within my means. I cannot say enough about the staff. Friendly, understanding, confident, and are people just like YOU. With that said, I would recommend this dealer to anyone. I drove 2 and half hours out of state to purchase my new car. That says a lot about the treatment and persistent drive that the Mullinax Ford North Canton , Ohio attain. A+++
My Wife and I bought a new 2015 F150 on a Sunday in late January 2016. We had no intention of making such a purchase that day we were just starting to look for a new service vehicle for our small business. After speaking with Robert Bond on the phone I reluctantly agreed to stop by and look at the truck I found online. After arriving we were introduced to Ashley Lamp who showed us the truck and worked up some numbers for us. The shopping experience was so good we ended up driving the truck home late in the afternoon. Ashley and Robert were great to work with, they addressed our concerns and earned our business without any pressure which we appreciated. I have been one of their service department customers over the years and had good results with AutoNation (formerly Mullinax Ford). Am a happy camper and really like the truck!
Recently I purchased a new F-150. From the price, selection, trade in value and the actual transaction I was very pleased. While everyone involved in the process was very nice, one person stood out . She is a young lady by the name of Ashley Lamp. I had never met Ashley before she contacted me via the internet. She knew exactly what I was looking for in a new truck and helped me find one I am happy with. Ashley had great sales techniques, did not pressure me in any way, and was very diligent in making sure the sale went smoothly. She seemed very knowledgeable in her product and made sure I was comfortable with all the features of my new vehicle before I left the dealership. If you are shopping for a new Ford product I would suggest you look into Auto Nation in North Canton and especially Ashley Lamp.
