i have 1 major complaint with care and share and its there pricing alot of the time they mark items at absurdly high prices because they give back to the community and im all for donating and giving back but i look at items and sometimes there over or at retail pricing and i just dont find that to be honorable its a rip off they exhibit signs of greed on many levels in my opinion and could make so many more sales if the prices were decent what really erked me and made me write this review is there recent price changes to the value thrift store where they basicly have all the stuff that they were not able to sell in the other "high end thrift shops" they essentially TRIPLED there prices and on the website it stated this was better to serve the customer i see it as a disservice personally its a shame there are no other thrift stores locally that have similar items otherwise i would not be a customer

I have a growing collection of all different types of beer glasses and steins, and frequent new thrift stores that I come across in order to add to my accumulation. I can understand placing items on shelves without washing them or checking them over, because of the total amount of inventory in the store. Of my purchases, one was filled with ash, the other had a dead bug in it, but whatever. Placing the price tag directly over scratches and nicks in the glass to make them unseen is a different issue, especially when there is a no return policy. I buy certain glassware for display purposes, and ones with imperfections are useless to me. A store that intentionally covers up damages on merchandise is deceitful to its customers.

I have been shopping at Care and Share thrift shops for over 25 years. I have literally furnished my home largely with items from Care and Share. They are a household word in our family. Literally every area of my home is furnished and supplied in some measure by Care and Share. From paperclips and stationery, to kitchen and housewares, Hardware and tools, to furniture and toys, to clothing and shoes for our family, bargains from Care and Share have literally made the difference in our standard of living. We LOVE Care and Share in our house!!!

Perhaps the largest thrift store I’ve ever visited. It’s most of a small shopping center, with different stores having different item focus. The northernmost store is furniture and appliances. Middle is clothing, followed by books and media, then variety. The last store, “Thrift Outlet”, is not for the faint of heart. Items there are sold by weight. This location and others with the same brand benefit the work of the Mennonite Central Committee, an umbrella organization of the largest Anabaptist Christian denomination in the United States.

I love going here to look for sweet finds. I live about an hour away but will make the drive just for the stores sometimes. I enjoy how many there are and ever-changing inventory. The only thing that saddens me is that the hours end so soon in the day. I once drove up and arrived just as everything closed down, yes my fault for not looking the hours up, but most things tend to be open later in the day. Either way, thanks for being around, and thanks for the affordable prices and good finds.

I do shop in your store and have found great items. Like others, I think items are sometimes a little high. Goodwill and Impact are drastically cheaper. However, you do have the half off special. Also, with employees who are volunteers, would it be possible to be open on Sunday from 12 to 5?? Keep in mind the proceeds do go towards people in need and this could be another reason for the prices being a little higher than other stores.

I like shopping there, but you got be be aware of the things you are buying. They say they check them before taping them up and putting on shelf. The problem is when you get home you find out it Dosent work or missing major pieces. I got a pile of stuff that is worthless. Be special careful of the auction items. I bought a lot that said brand new. Some of the items were taped in the box and missing pieces.

Prices too high, because they have a successful EBAY store by the name of soundertoncareandshare with many high priced sales. So how can you actually shop there if they are getting the best stuff first and listing it on their ebay store. So no wonder why there prices are high, instead of selling it reasonably in their store they can list it nation wide and get top dollar. Where are their profits going to?

This is the THRIFT SHOP that I compare all THRIFT SHOPS to and this will always be my fav. You have the furniture store on the end (where the potty is) then the clothing store...up further is the books..then the nick nack (STUFF) store then the outlet on the end. They redid them all last year so the stores have a lot more room. half price every 3rd friday but it is CRAZY THOSE DAYS.

I love Care & Share! Where else can you shop at a whole strip mall of Thrift stores?!? Books, clothing, furniture and more! All of the volunteers are so friendly, and they are super patient with my wild toddlers! Every time I visit we find awesome deals on clothes and books for the kids which helps us save so much money over buying new. Plus, the money supports a good cause <3

Awesome thrift stores. The Mennonites have it going! I am returning with more money in my pocket. I got a bread box (exactly what I was looking for) and a lovely lamp. Perfect! Besides working for a great cause, the products offered are in nice shape and I saw some new items as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Just an aside: bring shopping bags. You will need them.

The stores carries very interesting items. Price is ok considering that weekly and weedend discount. They also offers 50% discount on your birthday. I have brought multiple items from the stores. It is always fun to shop in the stores.

Good second hand store, offers a lot of variety at decent prices. The store is broken up into sections by wares. The sections are scattered through the shoping plaza which is a hassle if you want to see it all, but nothing too bad.

I bought a grass trimmer from here, forgot to check before pay. The employee came to check the trimmer in the back door, act like it was my fault that I did not check that before I buy. I threw the trimmer away.

Many different store front selling everything you might need. Great prices with frequent sales. The color of the week is 50% off and 75% off on Saturday. One Friday a month the whole store is 50% off.
