I had scheduled a furniture donation pickup with a charity in town and they failed to show up. I was in a panic and after doing some research I found SVDP. They were so easy to work with and getting a pick up scheduled was simple and non complicated. They communicated with me every step of the way which was awesome. They removed my furniture with ease and it took no time at all. I highly recommend them.

I just called them (12 Dec 2008) and due to Ike they have moved their retail location to 5236 Cedar, in Bellaire That said, the phone number is still good and I believe they are still taking locations here at the moment. Please feel free to flag /delete this review if it becomes a retail location again. Thanks!

Nice people with a limited selection. Last couple times I visited, there was no place to park due to the hoards of people there for free food. I had to leave. Hard to support the cause if a person has to come on foot in that neighborhood.
