Do not go hell would be better. Most of the staff are rude, inconsiderate and heartless. When they do finally allow you to work they want over half of your income or whatever income. Its a mini prison and they money hungry.Mr.Patrick horrible thats the only way to discribe him and that place.I forgot to add they will throw you out on your head children and all.The emergency shelter was ok but go to T.L.C

Star of hope is a good place to be. Church was excellent. The staff is caring but firm. They ask for money after you are able to stand on your own. They provide a place to sleep, eat and computers to find work. Job coaches are also available. They revised my resume and pointed me in the right direction. Give them a try! May God continue to bless the star of hope and the staff.

Great refuge for abused mothers and their children to get a new start in life. Location is centrally located and accessible on several bus lines. The exterior campus is always nice and clean.
