Christians in action is full of people that are very friendly and helpful. They work diligently to help the local area and most are genuinely helpful to the customers who come in. However, the director of the establishment "Carl" is probably the biggest jerk I have ever met. He refuses to negotiate on any price, even when the same item can be purchased new for the same price. Despite what the reviewer below "James" stated, some of us want a better deal so we can spend less money, not just to resell something. That is probably only true for a small number of people who shop there. Two seperate employees on two seperate instances have told me personally that Carl also squirrells away items in his office and in an offsite wharehouse that he thinks might be valuable. I doubt that the people donating these items would approve.... I have purchased and donated items there, I think the charity is a noble effort. Unfortunately the establishment is left in the hands of a miser.

dear russell.. what you said is true true true!!! He has loads of stuff that could be of value there and he hoards it ALL!!!!! He is not a christianly man once so ever! He helped us out once with groceries and school clothes last year. This year said he cant help us because it hasnt been a full year yet???? really???? So food and school clothes are things that we dont need appearantly. Very upset. Doesnt give a flying poop about anyone obviously.

Very poor selection in their thrift store and prices are a bit high for the quality of product. Also be aware this is a cash only thrift store, credit/debit cards are not accepted.
