Every time I go to the Marysville Value Village I leave wondering what is wrong with the staff. No one says hello or talks unless they absolutely have to. Evie, the manager, I believe sets the tone and it is a bad one. She has been there forever and rules with an iron hand. Other Value Village stores are friendly. They say good morning and welcome your donations. I will drive to Everett or Lynnwood (my favorite) to avoid the doom of Marysville. And remember senior citizens can get an additional 10% off with the 20% donation coupon to make 30%!!!!

You can find some real gems if you take the time to look. I bought a dress coat for $17, then I looked up the style and brand online and found that this brand of coat sells for around $800! I also bought a watch for $2.50, then I took it a jeweler to get a battery, they told me that the watch was worth well over $100! If you know what brands to look for, you can do pretty well, but it takes time and sometimes I leave with nothing.

This is a good place if you need a bargain. If you are hunting for something special. I was hunting for long stocking like socks for my son. He was in a school play. I found a pair here. The socks were perfect. The store is musty smelling. It is crowded. The staff appears to work hard. I always see them stocking the shelves or heading to the warehouse. I recommend it for inexpensive goods.

This is the thrift store that I always visit first. The prices are good and the store is usually clean and I have never had issues with the staff. Make sure you sign up with your email at the store to get notifications for member sales. It can get a bit crazy but I only see that as fellow bargain hunters are out.

It is hard to find something in your size, and when you do find them they maybe not in the color scheme you wanted. Also some clothing items are wore out. All in all I can say is you can have fun finding things here.
