The staff was rude and seemed like they did not want to be there. I recently moved from Texas where I donated triple platelets every two weeks as well as regular blood donations and red blood cell donations. I have had two full tattoo sleeves for several years, from a licensed shop that has been in business for 40 years, and they would not let me donate plasma. I told them I have had no problems in the past with donating and veins big enough to drive a truck. Any decent phlebotomist could easily find a vein but they refused simply saying because of the ink in the skin. Plasma donations are no different than what I have done in the past, I feel they just did not want to do their job. I wasted two round trips from Baileyton Tennessee. My platelet count is over 400 every two weeks. What a waste of good plasma.

I have never donated plasma before. On my first visit to Kingsport Kedplasma, It took over two and 1/2 hours just to find out I would be differed for four months because I had an endoscopy on Sept.23.. Needless to say I was not pleased with this plasma center at all. I think that they should post this information or at least advise people about this before they make them wait over 2 1/2 hours to go through a very lengthy process, which I believe is very important. My time is valuable and I believe that this company should take that into consideration. Please post or at least advise people when they come in, that way they do not have feeling like I did today.. I am not angry, I just think they could be more considerate of other people.

got there at open and it was absolutely packed. no room to sit, people standing in front of doorways. that has to be a fire hazard. i went to the counter and asked an employee what the wait time was. i was told at LEAST 4 hours. are you kidding me? 4 hours? not only do you have improper seating or even SPACE to hold people, but you have improper staffing. implement some sort of flow control. that many bodies in that little space is a disaster waiting to happen. i already dont want a needle in my arm for 45 minutes, but you tell me I have to wait at least 4 hours before donating, im walking right out. no wonder the only people willing to "stick" it out are the people there that look OBVIOUSLY like drug users. no. thank. you.

Behind closed doors its a terrible place to work. Whe. I left i gave them a two week notice and never was was written up or anything while working for them. To this day for whatever reason they give me a bad refrence to other jobs and i dont know why. I never did anything wrong there except quit? Because its full of highschool drama. At anyrate i had a friend pose as a potentiol employer and its against the law to tell them anything other then a couple simple questions. Yet they go out of there way to tell them how horrible i am yet i was never wrote up while working for them and i also never once called into work while working for them. I will be contacting a lawyer now that i know its been them all these years.

I used to have no problems here until they were bought by grifols and they gave me a card that was already activated then told me there was nothing more they could do. They also almost gave a friend of mine a nervous breakdown by telling her she has hep c, after immediately going to see her doctor to get proof that she in fact DID NOT OR HAS EVER HAD HEP C. TOLD HER SORRY BUT THEY HAD TO PUT HER ON A LIST AND SHE COULD NEVER DONATE. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS OBVIOUSLY THEIR ERROR.

I want to thank theme yes sometimes it is hard to get in and out I go to help people like they help me .... And for the man that said he walked out because it was going to take to long and the only ones willing to stick it out it looked like drug users ...well let me tell you some of us go to feed the family ...not about drug and yes some is about drugs but not all so thanks to Ked Plasma

Staff have all been friendly, and there is usually very little wait time. If you follow their above concerning nutrition, you should be in and put in an hour or less, depending on your body type. The exception to this would be your first visit, during which they will give you a physical, and a short interview. The first visit should take roughly 2 hours.

Been here over 2 hours. Still not even stuck. This place is getting slower and slower as they are always under staffed for the donor count. No excuse for this to take over 3 hrs to donate. The Ked Plasma experience keeps getting worse and worse. If you open the doors then you should have adequate floor staffing.

It takes about 3-4hours the 1st time you go, then from that point on it only takes about an hour. As long as you met the requirements (Heart rate and Blood pressure not too high) you will be able to donate you get $50 the 1st 5 times donating twice a week. Then it goes to $30 1st time the week and $40 the 2nd.

They treat you like a human being here. Pay is the best of any other donation place. And you get coupons in mail for extra money for donations about every 2 or 3 months
