Basically your average large-size Salvation Army. Big store, lots of clothing, employees were fairly nice but slow, not clean but not dirty. 80% clothing, 5% furniture, 5% electronics, 10% house items/scrapbooking/holiday. Clothing prices are higher than other Salvation Army stores. Electronics are “no returns” and almost guaranteed to be broken. Target market is female clothing shoppers. Salvation Army is so much better than those stores that claim to be full of “good will”!
La Shella Carithers
The people are normally friendly. The prices are really high for goods that were donated and the "color of the week" is always impossible to find. I visit pretty often (2-3 times per week). My husband hates that they have a "spy" standing in the middle aisle. We assume they are watching for possiable stealing? He really feels uncomfortable when he visits with me. Ok selection but some items have been sitting for months it seems.
As far as working here. Do NOT! They get mad at me because a customer ask me for corporate number when I’m off doing a job they put me on when I’m supposed to be a cashier anyways. Lie straight to my face and Say I did things to cause it! Which is not true. I’m in the same aisle as the lady and she approached me. They didn’t care they were just salty about it.
Good selection of items and stocking going on all day half price color tag weekly beats the local Goodwills here as they offer no discount and prices are a bit high for 2nd hand
It was a little disheveled and the line to check out was long, but they have a great selection of clothes and items here are nice compared to most thrift stores
Could definitely use some good cleaning but otherwise a decent location - staff were respectful though not incredibly friendly.
Great deals on repurposed and gently used items with money generated going back into the community via programs and services.
Big K. Eaton
Great selection of gently used items from toys to clothes they have it even stuff that were never in stores. Like Derby cars.
Great place to find bargains, if your willing to take the time to search. also their 69¢ sale every Saturday is to die for.
Nice place to go need to lower some of the prices the stuff is donated but I do appreciate the military discount
store is cramped, always tripping over furniture. 20th street better location, just needed some updating.
The Dalton Gang
For donated items are very highly priced. You might consider goodwill they lease lower donated prices.
Barbara BJ Simmons
Dirty. They have a lot of stuff, but items do not appear to be cleaned after they are donated.
Name brand apparel slightly used. Affordable prices. Furniture is too expensive, not sure why.
Was extremely messy and very unorganized, would not recommend this place to anyone.
Some of the prices are off the wall for used things. $.69 Saturdays are ok.
I like to go there and browse and I usually find something I like.
Very organized and clean. This place has a wide variety of items
No pants in my size. Prices are little high for used things.
The people are friendly and store is usually near and clean.
Love this store! Friendly staff and great prices!
I like this store, they always have nice deals
I like coming for the 69¢ deals on Saturday.
Best, most friendly thrift store in town!
They have used clothing at a cheap price
Great place to get cheap clothes
how much is your cheapest desk?
Some of the managers are rude.
