They make the single women shower together in a stall that only gets cleaned once a day. There is always hair and body dirt in it. Only two bathroom stalls for 20+ women and children. Very unsanitary environment. Everyone is constantly sick they feed people expired food. They wake you up at 4am make you leave by 6am and they dont provide bus passes. They make the people in the recovery program do all the work, cleaning ect. They let people sleep with used blankets that other people have slept with and some have bed bugs in them. They dont wipe walls or clean the carpet. If you can go somewhere else.....GO

The only way i could review is if i had put a star here. Im a disabled female that requires a service animal due to seizures. I am currently homeless due to my current situation and the rescue mission told me i could not stay because they dont accept animals she is not a pet she helps me with my seizures. So thanks for nothing federal laws states you can not deny mey service animal or me access but they did...sorry would never tell ppl to go here...

I hate the people there they have recovering addicts working there and they take out their frustration on the homeless. They are bigots and very hateful to the poor although the line their pockets from their adversity. A bunch of lying ass thieves and phony ass snakes. They steal the best stuff and have the nerve to call on the name of Jesus! Hypocrits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I visited the thrift store, the prices are low, the selection is good,the displays are very close together,maneuvering my mobility chair between them is a challenge, the store is not very wheelchair friendly, the staff just watched me attempting to browse the store without offering to make a path for access to clothing displays.

As a volunteer, I was given the task of offering salt and pepper to those sitting down to enjoy their meal. The Homeless were very kind and respectful (minus a small few who made crass comments about killing me) and it was a rewarding experience. I encourage everyone to donate food, money, or time to those less fortunate!

This is o e of the few places in Las Vegas that is designed to actually help families in need! The staff is amazing with beautiful hearts and understanding spirits and in the end you get the help you really need. God bless all the staff and volunteers at the rescue mission!

They help low income families and the homeless, in many ways; food, clothing, place to sleep, mailing address, and more. Every other month, they provide generous food boxes for low income families, including bulk frozen meat and fresh cheese. Always accepting volunteers.

Tim Secession is a very cruel person. He also sends staff members on spot jobs that are supposed to be reserved for the guys in the program. He continued to send one of the kitchen supervisors ego is a black man to the ping pong convention 2 times a year.

Staff is uncalled for hostile with the homeless coming inside the shelter for the night. It has been a complete 180 from how it was ran in 2010. I would say it helps get you in out the cold Nevada nights, but is a pill to swallow.

Went there for volunteering. They are really going extra mile by offering balanced meals for many in need. I would recommend everyone to make themselves available there, at least once in a while.
