Mike stopped what he was doing and greeted me when I walked in. He asked if I wanted to use their public space to work on my bike or if I wanted him to fix it. I asked him to fix it for me. He adjusted the cables and the brakes and gave me advice I needed. All for $10. I was intimidated at first because of the neighborhood it was in and I am a novice rider and know next to nothing about bikes. I would not hesitate to go there again. Thank you Mike!

I went in just to get a bike tire that popped replaced. A guy ther explained everything really well, replaced the tube with a high quality one, and put in two strips in both tires of this really hard plastic to keep anything from puncturing. He also adjusted my seat and explained why it would be better that way. So far have had 0 problems with my bike, and I actually go faster easier with my new seat adjustment.

Go to the Reno Bike Project - They are really helpful, honest and the price is more than fair. This is a very unusual bike shop. Kind of hippy-ish, but very nice people, friendly, not snobby. The fact you can come in and use their extensive tools and truing stands for a very nominal fee is a great idea and long overdue. Be sure to donate something while you are there to keep this going.

Amazing community bike shop that lets YOU learn how to fix and maintain your own bike at a ridiculously reasonable cost. They have a huge lot of use everything for your bike and also new parts as well. Thanks to the super friendly duo of Raymond and Ray for there expertise and guidance on fixing our bikes. Had a blast, learned a lot and now have bikes that work great!

The Reno Bike Project taught me a lot of bike mechanics that I would have never learned taking my bike anywhere else. The staff are all very helpful and the bike project has always been a wonderful way for me to fix my bike up for very cheap.
