I was in desperate need of another vehicle. I purchased one from the BattleCreek location back in 2008, so I knew I could go back and find a vehicle. Before going in, I did the online application. They immediately called me back to set up an appointment. I went in the next morning and was pleasantly greeted by Mike Anderson. We talked for a while just like we were old friends. He let me know how much I was approved for and I went outside to look for a car that would suit my needs. I found a nice 2006 Pontiac G6. The best part about the whole ordeal was that I didn’t have to put a penny down plus they gave me a choice of 3 items to choose from. I picked the 250 gas card. Being a female, we tend to be hesitant about going to a dealership alone. I don’t jump too easily so I knew I could walk out if I wasn’t satisfied. Mike and Steve Barlow were the nicest people you’d ever want to meet. I’m glad I went in that day. If anyone is doubtful, ask me and I will tell you that this is the place to go. The first car I purchased was a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. Yes it was an older model but it is still running. These men would not put their name or reputation on the line just to sell someone a car. I am an honest person. I have to give Car City a high five for a job well done. Thank you Mike Anderson and Steve Barlow for making me a happy camper.

This is a predatory lender. They are selling cars for 4 times the amount and tacking on crazy finance charges. I paid over $22,000 when it was all said and done and am left with a piece of junk car. My cars value is now $800-$1000 just to give you an idea. This system is designed to trap you and either get you a repo on your credit to further damage it or suck the money out of you for the next 4 1/2 years. After you make your 48th payment, you have 3 choices. Return the car and paid a $200 fee, yes you have to pay them to take it back, they get to evaluate it and possibly charge you more if repairs are needed. You can also return it and lease a new vehicle, which is a terrible idea. The 3rd option is the purchase option and you get to pay another $2,000 to purchase the car after your 48th payment. THIS IS A FLEASE, BE CAREFUL becuase the system is designed to leave you with no car. It does improve your credit some, but the improvement is MINIMAL. They will lie to you and make you think you will have great credit afterwards. I made all 48 payments on time and never missed a single one by a day.

I just bought a car from Car City. It was our 3rd vehicle from them. I shopped around for 2 weeks. They brought in, without fail and without hesitation, each and every car I asked for from another lot! I test drove more than a handful and just when I thought my decision was made I asked Jordan to bring in one last car for me....which I later found out he went to GR to pick up himself. That’s the car I ended up buying. He was super patient and friendly. All 3 guys that work at the Battle Creek Car City were amazing!!! Thank you all, especially Jordan, for being such a caring group of guys. Made my car buying experience well worth it. And I LOVE my Nissan!
