Denooyer Chevy Kalamazoo: New Chevy vehicle first service(LOF/TIRE ROT./MULTIPOINT INSP) Service Advisor: Herb. New Chevy Truck; I have had for 9 months. Time of service: late in the day on a Friday. My truck was delivered back within the estimated time frame, all staff I came in contact with was friendly and nice, and several people asked if was being taken care of when I walked through the showroom. They washed the exterior of the truck. A tire valve cap was missing from the driver side rear tire when the truck was done, and promptly replaced by Herb when i pointed it out. The low wiper fluid was topped off. The Multi point inspection document was blank, Herb ran in back to get tech who did the work but couldn’t get him and said he had gone home but that he would get filled out and mail it to me, I (semi) jokingly said i wonder if the tech will remember anything after the weekend, and asked him if he is just going to green light everything! I asked Herb about the ringing noise from the ignition key switch and he said to bring it again at a separate time to check it out, understandable as it was late on a Friday. I asked Herb about the rusty oem rectangular step bars, he said to put something on them to protect them as the chrome is porous and sucks up Michigan winter road salt. I told him I wish they would have told me that when I bought the truck. I asked him if they see it a lot and he said he has seen it routinely. He said at this point probably all they can do is replace them, and suggested that I go to the selling original dealer because of some metric they use that they have to try to keep low on warranty work. I looked at the oil when i got home it does appear to be new oil. I parked on an area where if there are any leaks they will show up on the concrete, prior to this service i have never noticed any leaks. While I would not say the service was exceptional, I am not displeased with the service I received and will add more to this report/change my opinion if leaks are found. I think it is common practice at most dealers that the low guy on the totem pole(inexperienced) does the "easy" oil changes, ad have heard horror stories about not tightening down the drain bolt and/or filter correctly. Keeping my fingers crossed this is not the case here. Also, it would be nice to have a accurately filled out multi-point inspection document.

Awesome! Debbie Ferrell was exceedingly helpful with both our trade in and purchase. She went above and beyond in many aspects of our transaction. From following up and starting the process over the phone, staying late to complete it without dinner or lunch, and by following up to aid in resolving issues after the transaction. After the purchase was complete it was late and still before driving the car off the lot both Jason Sellers and Debbie patiently insured that my wife and I understood the vehicles capabilities as well as its many features. This also included Debbies help on setup and a knowledge transfer of OnStars third party software so that we may monitor our investment from anywhere via both our mobile devices. Looking back on the transaction we do not have any symptoms of buyers remorse and this is partially due to the financial departments diligent and thorough efforts to give us the lowest APR possible. I am having difficulties recalling the gentlemens name but he was a pro and knew exactly what I wanted as well as what I was going to ask. By the time I was in his office to sign the paper work everything was completely in place with the best deal on the table. All in all this was a smooth and fair process for both parties. I firmly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for an honest and straight forward purchase. In parallel I recommend other dealerships to learn from this one, nothing is worse than being mentally beat down by overly energetic and hyper aggressive sales guys like I have had to endure from other dealerships. I was honestly to the point where I could not wait until the day I could just buy my car online. Because of the impeccable customer service of DeNooyer my mind has completely changed in less than 5min after I walked in. It was a blessing to walk into DeNooyer and to be greeted by Debbie with a calm and honest approach as well as having all questions and concerns immediately answered. As a side note I would also like to complement the cleanliness of the dealership, truly impressive to see the impeccable efforts of the afterhours cleaning staff. In summary this is my 4th car purchase and have visited countless dealerships in Texas, California, and Michigan by far DeNooyer was the best experience. Chevy you have a great team here please acknowledge and commend them.

Very unhappy with the Body Shop. Let me start with saying I go to Denooyer for the service and they are a great Dealer (Which is why I take a Ford to a Chevy Dealer) and which is why I was very surprised with the outcome of my transaction. It started with me bringing the Truck in for body work due to a accident. I discussed with the estimator the total damages (which I pointed out a few things that he missed) in the discussion we looked up new step bars for the truck. Due to their capacity of vehicles they were unable to get my truck in for a couple weeks (not a problem), in between those weeks I called the estimator several times and we were able to agree on a pair of sterling grey step bars. Which, I assumed he knew what I was talking about because of the color I told him and the fact that he did not ask me for a part number to confirm he would be getting the right ones. When my truck was completed I drove by and noticed that the wrong step bars were on the truck (different style and black). Before I came to pick up the truck I called the estimator and manager to see if the step bars could be replaced. This is when I received a few excuses as to why they couldn’t be. A few of them were that they didn’t fit, I should have given them a part number, I should have looked at the part before they put them on. However the real reason they would not replace them was because they threw away the box and instructions to the step bars and they could not return them to Ford. Which I would think that would be their fault and they would put the correct the step bars on the truck, but no. They said they couldn’t do anything for me and that I had to keep those step bars. Then to top it off I just found some nice scratches on my window tint on the door they worked on. They did say they will pay for the replacement, but now after they had it for a week and half I will have to take it to a new place for a day. Overall just very disappointed in the dealership and would not recommend them.

My wife and I were looking for a different car and found one of interest at Denooyer. We called in to check on the hours and to make sure the car was still there and available. We were connected with Doug Battenberg which was very helpful in making sure we knew exactly where the dealership was located. Since we were from out of town and we were pushing our arrival close to their closing time, he wanted to make sure we were able to see the car. When we arrived we were introduced to Doug by the Receptionist which we might add was very polite and pleasant to talk to. Doug had the car all ready for us to see and take for a test drive including a welcome sign on the dash of the car making the experience even more pleasant. I wanted to see under the hood to look at the engine so Doug graciously pulled it under a lot light so I could see the engine. The test drive went well, it was time to negotiate a price there of course was a stumbling block which is normal. It was time for them to close and for us to leave and think about the car. Doug called the very next morning with an acceptable offer. We returned later in the evening to take another look at the car in the day light. I saw a line hanging low under the car and asked Doug if the car could be put up on the lift so we could see what was hanging. Doug again graciously arranged this to happen and the guys in the garage were just as pleasant and helpful. The fuel line that was hanging got tied up and we were ready to sign papers. Our overall experience was wonderful. Previously from other dealerships I had tried getting information and to get someone to call me back and took the 2 and 3 days. Thanks Doug and Denooyer Chevrolet

We have worked with Richard Labram at Denooyer Chevrolet for over the past 5 years buying and leasing vehicles, he has always done an outstanding job and is definitely the best Sales Consultant we have ever worked with, we would never go to anyone else when it comes to our vehicle needs. My Father has been a GM employee for over 35 years and we stick by our FAMILY BRAND of Chevrolet, and Richard has always been very helpful with meeting our needs when it comes to buying Chevy vehicles. We are also a Military family and our needs are a little different then a lot of other families and he has always been extremely helpful and understanding. He always calls us back within a reasonable amount of time and even stays after they close to help customers and return phone calls and emails! We always recommend to all of our family members and friends even if they are not local to Kalamazoo to stop in and see Richard. Cant say enough how helpful and awesome it has been to be able to work with a great salesman like him! Thank you to Richard and the Denooyer team for making all of our buying/leasing experiences great!

This was my first time buying a car at a dealership, so of course I didn’t really know what to expect. I took my father with me to help me choose the right car for the right price. I had been to two other dealerships that day that didn’t want to work with my price range, so at that point I was kind of over the car shopping, and than I got to DeNooyer. Laurie was my sales associate and she couldn’t have been more helpful. She helped me get the best deal on not only my new car, but on my old car that I was trading in. After I decided that this was the perfect car for me, she helped me get through all the paper work, and the day I picked up the car, she took the time to help me set up the My Chevrolet App, helped me with the OnStar setup, and helped me understand the controls in my car (very helpful, especially when you’re going from an 04 durango, to a car that’s just over 2 years old). I can honestly say that she made my first time buying a car less scary, and I will defintley be going there for my next. They definitely make you feel very welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I recently purchased a 2008 G8 GT from them and the experience has been great. I found the car online and got most of it all worked out over the phone prior to making the 4.5 hour drive. When I got there Ryan helped me take care of all the paperwork and was really friendly. The car was a great price, and in exact condition as described. Even a week after purchasing the vehicle I was able to get in contact with them and they helped me through a few questions in regards to titling the car(out of state purchase) and also helping me through taking care of a small issue with the car through the GM certified warranty(By no means is this an issue that they could have prevented, but Barry still has been helping me along the way) Both Barry and Ryan are fantastic. I Will be going through them again when It comes time to get another vehicle. There is something to be said about their customer service and passion for satisfying a customer. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle through them, the prices are great and the people are unlike any dealer I have ever been to.

I had made contact with the dealership concerning a new car demo ride. I called the sales person when I left Constantine, Mi and left a message on her voicemail that I was coming that way. I arrived 35 minutes later and she was gone for lunch and the receptionist indicated that she was expected back in 15 minutes. I waited 25 minutes and recontacted the receptionist who sent a text to her that I was present. I was not told that there was any type of reply to the text. I waited again for another 10 minutes and I was not updated on her arrival. I asked for another sales person and the receptionist requested a sales person over the public address. 5 minutes later no one had shown up to assist me. This was on a Friday afternoon. Only myself there in the showroom (other than those asking for specific persons) I got a call from the sales person another 20 minutes later after I left the showroom. I hope the rest of the services at the dealership are better than what I received.
