First it is in humane to have a store with no restroom!!!!! A lot of the cloths come from infested bed bug homes, the side of the road. The prices are wayyyy to high. Example a long sleeve shirt with rips, stains, missing buttons, can go from 4 dollars to 6 dollars. For a few short dollars more it can be bought brand new. The shoes are so worn out they should go for free. They are really costly at this store. As high as 10 to 12 dollars. If you should hit a sale.. Wich they do have,, and find something they will accuse you of switching tags. I never saw any sort of salvation army rehab centers, homeless shelters for men or women in the saint Clair county area. So who are they helping. Not Port Huron citizens. For as creating jobs the answer is most are voluntary positions. For a descent thrift store with all-around better price, selection go to the Good will you will be much happier.... And yes they have a restroom!!!!!!!!

Clean. Can access items on shopping list easily. Helpful. Friendly. Did home pickup at my house many times. Pickup Fridays. Staff friendly. Salvation Army best organization to donate items and money. 100% of money goes back to community. No administration costs. Volunteers are that volunteers not getting paid like a job. Individuals needing help due to fire, etc, are referred from emergency agencies in town and receive items free.

What the Salvation Army does for st.clair county is absolutely amazing most people have no clue to the housing-meals-clothing and needs of those struggling keep up the good work and thank you for all you do
