Terrible place, everything is overpriced especially the furniture, all of it is garbage and yet it is often over $100 dollars for something that will take another $100 to make look decent and that something wouldnt be worth the time. And when something is actually worth putting the time and money into redoing, they price it as if it has been redone and is in the best condition it could ever be in. I once found a secretary desk there, nice desk needed refinishing though, had seen similar ones at antique stores (refinished) going for around 300-400; unique was selling it for $1000, they didnt even bother looking up the cost of similar items before pricing the thing! Who ever buys it will have to be a complete idiot. Waste of time, dont go!

I have shopped at the Unique thrift stores for many yrs and every year the prices go up and up, the customer service down and doubt after my last experience I will ever return. There are too many other thrift stores where much better merchandise can be found and for a much more reasonable price. An example of my experience on 7/15...found two kitchen valances, 4 ft x 1 ft, one was priced 2.99 and the other 4.99 and they were the exact same valance--a fair price would probably have been 1.99 each. They solved the discrepancy by charging me 3.99 for each!!!

I have been to this establishment probably 100 times over 20 years. I have donated thousands of dollars of goods to them. In the last year or two, their prices have become next to outrageous for donated goods. I try to support local as often as I can. I understand that my dollar goes to give people good jobs. But, I will not pay nearly retail for something that has been used and often I may be buying at my own risk based on condition or usage by the previous owner. Please re-assess your pricing.

I worked here for a couple months and although the employees rock and very friendly and helpful i would NOT recommend working there. The head manager is difficult to interact and approach with. In my opinion it is important to be personable and understanding as a manager especially when the whole concept and motto is "team work". Appreciate the kindness shown by the other managers and employees though, you all made the experience tolerable and fun.

what happend to a thrift store haveing good prices but 30 dollars for a pair of jeans is crazy ok high end but this is a thrift store... and they need more people there who speak / understand better english . it is hard to ask a question and they just look at you and shrug and say no no .. very frustrating now dont be getting down on me because of that it is the truth ..

What a wasted trip! I was surprised to walk through their doors only to come across OVERPRICED garbage. $9.99-$14.99 for a crappy used tie? Really? I might as well shop at Marshalls and get new clothes at a discounted price rather than spend any money at a garbage heap that passes itself off as a thrift store. Avoid like the plague.

There is a young fellow who now works "the door" at the Unique Thrift in New Hope. His name is Deandre Jones and he should be promoted! He is one of the first employees in that position that takes his job seriously, is continuously engaged, enforces rules, and is courteous and friendly--and is a natural manager.

This place is amazeballs. I bought so much stuff for only 25 bucks. They have a good selection of clothes and randoms. I was helped by this hot little thing named Amanda. She was a delight. I do have one recommendation though. You should give out pizza rolls and sprite at the door.

Great on their 50% off days, with a large selection of clothes and shoes. The only downside is that they bunch small items together so you have to buy more than you need, and their prices are almost as high as Goodwill. Some clothes are over $15 for secondhand.

Lots of cool finds but you have to watch out for the prices, some stuff will be priced at a decent thrift store rate other stuff is just as or more expensive then it is/was brand new in the retail store it originally came from.

I was looking for 3 XLT shirts and 40-42 size cargo pants at the Winnetka store. Prices are more expensive than K-Mart next door. So, I shopped at other RETAIL SHOPS and bought BRAND NEW clothes at CLEARANCE prices.

Stuff moves quickly so there is always a change in selection. It isnt as clean as I would like it, but they have improved within the past year or so. Prices are fair, but they have increased recently.
